I cannot wait to be quite frank. She is fast becoming my favourite artist of the decade thus far.

 

If people think it still belongs in the Alternative forum then move it there, but I see no reason why.

This is probably the most commercial thing I've heard from her, but it still doesn't sound like she's sacrificed her artistic integrity too much all the same. It'd be nice if this could provide a big breakthrough for her, although if not then it doesn't really matter as I don't feel she's someone who is in the game for that reason.

The only reason I keep listening to this is becuase of who it's by. If it was by anyone else I'd have ignored it by now. Prefer every other song I've heard by her.

Like others have said, this is a bit too Ed Sheeran for my liking.

It's pleasant enough, but that's about it really. Shame as I actually loved 'Tough Love'!

 

Hoping the rest of the album isn't going in this direction and this single is purely being released for commercial purposes.

If this doesn't give her a hit, I don't think anything will! I pretty much agree with the general consensus that it's very good but her weakest single so far, which is something I'll take it means she finally gets a proper hit.

I have not listened to this since last week, but still better than a lot of other stuff out there right now.

Gah what a shite video <_<. Still hoping this'll be a hit of sorts against the odds.
