August 15, 201410 yr I'm really tired of their acoustic Issues and Chasing Lights, both songs sound the same to me.
August 15, 201410 yr Author I'm really tired of their acoustic Issues and Chasing Lights, both songs sound the same to me. http://i61.tinypic.com/23r6dk5.gif Vanessa is appalled by this notion.
August 15, 201410 yr My only criticism/question about the Issues acoustic is that it sounds a bit tuned/robotic in places.
August 15, 201410 yr Yes, I thought it was me! It's a bit tuned, you can hear it especially on Nessa's first pre-chorus. I also love their guitar man
August 15, 201410 yr I've been thinking about this for the last couple of days. If I was there manager, this is what I would do now. Get WAYWF reduced to 59p on iTunes. Price Reduction for GH on iTunes to £4.99 Price Reduction for GH in stores to £5.99 Re release Ego as a promo single for the album. (Radio would surely play it). Release video for WTTD in September on the last day of the tour. Radio tour for all major radio stations. Seven Promo slots the week before release. One per week day and 2 on the Saturday. Release WTTD in October and attach it to Album #6 Release unnamed single in December along with album #6 (Not an Xmas album). Another Radio tour. xfactor, strictly, the voice TV slots. Go on a one year break from February 2015-2016 and release a new single in March 2016. no offense... but there is no way the girls could get 7 slots the week before release... its not a case of phoning up itv and saying "can we book loose woman, this morning, weekend, gmb etc." they need to be invited on and frankly, they wouldn't want to do it. everybody needs to except this is beyond the girls or even peters powers, they are now past their peak and in decline and there is no interest from tv or radio anymore.
August 15, 201410 yr Frankie Bridge sounds absolutely horrendous. Shoulda kept her surname #SorryNotSorry
August 15, 201410 yr Author Agreed, but lets be honest everyone will still call her Frankie Sandford when the wedding hype dies down a bit  It's just clicked that Alai-Mai is the only non-bast*rd child out of the mini sats as Aoife-Belle and Parker were born outside of marriage :o

August 15, 201410 yr Author I've got to agree with you both  some of the pictures of her from Frankie's wedding and their captions that've been on Twitter have made me laugh so much
August 15, 201410 yr Author Oops for double post but this was the best one: ""can i try your drink mum?" #alcoholicbaby " I was proper laughing for a good ten minutes
August 16, 201410 yr Author They need to sort themselves out - how can they think posting the ad on Facebook is going to help????
August 16, 201410 yr They need to sort themselves out - how can they think posting the ad on Facebook is going to help???? I know, they're such liars. I can't believe the advert didn't happen. They would have been in a much better position sale wise if the advert was rotating. They only have themselves to blame, which is why I don't care as much anymore.

It's something so small that will have probably cost them their career, without sounding overly dramatic.
August 16, 201410 yr They must be pretty content with how tickets have sold for them to not be doing anything. As long as the tour does decently they'll be alright. As I've said, there's very little money to be made off album/single sales. It's the tours and endorsements that bring in the most revenue and they seem to do well with both.

To be fair, people thought the same about the album preorders. And it's not like they aren't doing anything, they are trying to give tickets for free if you enter X or Y competition. Some of the venues have clearly been selling well, and even though I feel like we shouldn't be worrying just now, I wouldn't really toss the idea of them cancelling one or two dates just yet.

But you only get endorsements and ticket sales for a band like The Saturdays when you have hits - The fact media/radio snubbed this release means I think they will struggle to get them back in board if they release anything else after a flop single and GH album.
August 16, 201410 yr Not necessary, in my opinion! They need to be visible in the public eye to get these endorsement deals. A singer is no better than an actress, or a top model, or just any celebrities when it comes to endorsement deals. These companies don't care about chart success or #1s on airplay, this is not the girls' principal interest to their eyes. What these companies want is publicity and visibility, and The Saturdays actually got plenty of these as celebrities (not so much as singers, though, very much sadly). Mariages, wedding rings, fashion, candids, TV presenting, pregnancies, babies, TV realities, etc. That being said, I would definitely expect them to start losing gigs and festivals from now on because that's purely based on music and its success. If they don't get radio stations back on board (which is possible by the way, but it will be hard), no festivals would want them on their lineup. But anything related to fashion, make up, etc, they will probably get just as much as they're used to.
August 17, 201410 yr Meanwhile I just remembered, didn't Citroen contract them to have a car of theirs in five music videos. We only have three. Maybe Citroen will force them to do it.
