August 23, 201410 yr I thought they were very restrained for some reason. I feel like it could have been a 'WOW' performance with just more energy and movement. Even the vocals and facial expressions seemed vey bored. edit - watching it again now. Is it just Vanessa singing the choruses? Ego and Higher always sound pretty good live yet they both sound weak. I wish there were better transitions between the songs (change to outfit? Quick freestyle dance? Some music effect?) and more energy in the dancing especially as it's their first ever medley and was on a big TV show. It just didn't feel like the big outstanding Tv performance it could have been. Up was flawless (great start), Higher was flat and boring, All Fired Up was terrible, Ego was great as always and What About Us was nothing special. Some hairflips, fierce walking and more choreography would have made it perfect. Edited August 23, 201410 yr by shadow2009
August 23, 201410 yr Excited for the tour to be honest; re-watching 24/7 their recent performances really have lacked their "presence" if that makes sense. Hopefully they come alive on tour.
August 23, 201410 yr Yeah, Up was a good start, Higher was fine (if a little stiff), All Fired Up was the worst - really pretty bad, Ego was ok and got better as it went on, What About Us is the same as it always is.
August 24, 201410 yr It was alright, vocally it was above their usual This Morning performance, but there was absolutely no presence or energy. It's a shame. Nothing terrible about it, it was fine. Just wish they would do more than "fine" considering their situation...
August 24, 201410 yr In contrast to some of the other posters here I found that AFU was the best part :)

August 24, 201410 yr I hope this doesn't sound offensive but I thought Una looked pregnant in the 'Ego' solo camera shots.
August 24, 201410 yr I wish they'd booked a Live Lounge performance in September, as it's More Music Month or something
August 24, 201410 yr I wish they'd booked a Live Lounge performance in September, as it's More Music Month or something Radio 1 only have people they playlist in the live lounge. Unfortunately they won't be in the live lounge again.
August 24, 201410 yr Radio 1 only have people they playlist in the live lounge. Unfortunately they won't be in the live lounge again. I wouldn't really say that's true. I mean, The Sats had a takeover on Radio 1 the other day (5 songs played), had a premiere on Radio 1, Mollie done The Surgery on Radio 1 and Mollie/Vanessa both wound up that guy during a Radio 1 show so they have a great relationship with them.

Yeah but R1 live lounge is different. They often invite artists on that they don't playlist, yes - but they always invite people into the live lounge that are on their playlist currently or have just come off it.
