August 14, 201410 yr Magic! held on :D Not sure if I want Sam #1 next week - I'd like a British #1 but not a Sam one :drama: Meghan could steal it.
August 14, 201410 yr Katy rebounding to #16 because of that baby video  That song just won't die
August 14, 201410 yr Author BILLBOARD HOT 100 39 44 Bastille - Pompeii One whole year (52 weeks) on the Hot 100 for Bastille.
August 14, 201410 yr One whole year (52 weeks) on the Hot 100 for Bastille. Very impressive! Very well deserved as well.

I read about Nicki passing MJ and initially I though that meant she had the most Hot 100 hits of all time - HOW HAS LIL WAYNE GOT 122 :drama: I don't even.
August 16, 201410 yr I read about Nicki passing MJ and initially I though that meant she had the most Hot 100 hits of all time - HOW HAS LIL WAYNE GOT 122 :drama: I don't even. probably because he features on everyone's songs  I would guess that Glee Cast have the most Hot 100 hits of all time. Their domination will be hard to beat
August 16, 201410 yr Quite surprising that Meghan record is a first, I suppose she's lucky that there haven't really been any other fast growers the last few weeks. Nicki Minaj having more hits than Michael Jackson already is pretty unbelievable - I suppose he's still well ahead counting hits with the Jackson 5 though.
August 16, 201410 yr Author Umi's Chart Highlights"Stay With Me" remains at #1 but closes the gap further on "Rude": last week, the gap was 9%. This week, only 6%. Sam is the next #1 then. Umi's Chart Highlights Lil' Wayne leads the rapper list with 122 Hot 100 hits. Name one Lil Wayne hit ... The only one I could think of is the one that says "milli" over and over, and I don't know how it goes
August 16, 201410 yr Sam might not get #1! With the gap closed by only 3% this week, 'Rude' may hang on next week and Meghan could be #1 the week after. But I hope Sam gets it. And yes I can't say I remember any Lil Wayne hits either, just a couple of features. Would never have guessed he was THAT commonly used as a featured rapper though.
August 17, 201410 yr I read about Nicki passing MJ and initially I though that meant she had the most Hot 100 hits of all time - HOW HAS LIL WAYNE GOT 122 :drama: I don't even.Same here! But some of the headlines were seriously misleading, depending on where you read it. On a similar note, No Mediocre is apparently T.I.'s 28th top 40 hit! I think that one surprises me even more (though I was well aware of Lil Wayne having a huge number). Very pleased to see Boom Clap in the top 10 as I feared it'd be like Sing and never make it. And, I expected higher than #19 for Anaconda.
August 17, 201410 yr True, it's generally kind if implied that if you make a big deal out of someone's achievement being beaten, they held the record. And nowhere I read about it mentioned the wealth of artists with more hits than Michael!
