34. I Forget Where We Were - Ben Howard

Ooh finally some more new music from him! Didn't realise he was back ~

Nickelback  to #21 :drama: Who knew they were still so popular.

Bloody heck it's at 21 now - I was joking earlier on by mentioning Nickelback now it's backfired on me

So Ben Howard is OAOS too, that's 3 this week - think I might collapse with the excitement. iTunes is a bit of a mess at the mo so many new releases that were very high on Sunday falling away quickly now and with streaming most will fail to make Sundays chart.

Also wow at Out of the Black by Royal Blood doing so well and it's not even the single, must be the album preorder rising with its availability to stream on iTunes this week!!!

Just admit you love them really ;)

errr.... no thanks

And RedOne and will.i.am  Genericu2, here we come!

I'm not anticipating hearing them so much :P

I shall be purchasing it regardless. Best band of all time, in my opinion.

1. David Guetta - Lovers on the Sun (feat. Sam Martin)

2. Taylor Swift - Shake It Off

21. Nickelback - Edge of a Revolution

29. Ben Howard - I Forget Where We Were

102. Years & Years - Take Shelter

110. HAIM - My Song 5 (feat. A$AP Ferg)

You're joking right? It's hard to tell sometimes.

will.i.am has done a song with U2, and it didn't sound much like a normal will.i.am song (although it's probably been years since I heard the song so maybe I've forgotten).

RedOne is absolutely tragic. I'm glad he can't get chart hits anymore.

 10. Black Widow (feat. Rita Ora) - Iggy Azalea

 11. Tonight (We Live Forever) - Union J

 13. I'm Not the Only One - Sam Smith

 14. Crazy Stupid Love (feat. Tinie Tempah) - Cheryl Cole

Taylor is now up to over 92% of 'Lovers on the Sun' so I think she'll probably just manage to take the #1 tomorrow as she is still gaining consistently 4 or 5% with every update!

*collapses*

She is slowing down though - will maybe just make it?!

Yeah she's slowed down very slightly but I think she'll just make it and then hopefully the "#1 effect" will help her stay there for a bit longer!

Also Taylor will be playlisted tomorrow and played on the chart update surely so that will also give a boost

Anyway it's already in my top 5 ever played on my IPod to show how much I have listened to Shake It Off

This also might seem like a stupid question but I am being honest. I think I know the answer but I am not 100% sure. Do video sales count towards the chart?

I don't believe so, but as far as I'm aware music video sales on iTunes would be so low that they would barely make any difference anyway.

One play on the Chart Update tomorrow won't do that much yous will have to hope the controversy over the video would keep people talking about it. Plays will dry up since the radio 1 playlist (if she's added) won't come into affect until Monday - maybe they will add her to the B list straight away?

I think it'll be No 10 in the chart update

What controversy - this is the sweet Taylor Swift we're talking about, right?

26. Ben Howard "I Forget Where We Were"

I can see this benefitting from streaming actually. Perhaps not enough for it to even chart T40 officially, but we'll see.

33. T.I. "No Mediocre"

37. Chris Malinchak "Stranger"

Gutted that these falling so much put them in the likely position of missing out on the T40 this week.

100. Years & Years "Take Shelter"

Yes!

I'm disgusted with myself :o, I'm usually very cautious with my spelling, even online. I think I was distracted, preparing myself for tonight's 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

Apologies Hayzayy, I was fully preparing myself for a Guetta/Tedder debate there. :P

Ahah, it's fine don't worry

Although yes, U2 working with David Guetta isn't really pleasing me. :-

31 Robin Schulz & Lillywood - Prayer In C

VS

89 Duke Dumont - Won't Look Back (Radio Edit)

it's 74 now.

I guess we have a winner for next week? The better song anyway.

1. Taylor Swift - Shake It Off

If it wasn't OA/OS this could bring her number 1 for sure.
