Clare Bowen- Black Roses

Chart-Run:2-8-14-20-7

Release Date: 13th July

Chart Sales: +240k

And getting a really random boost for absolutely no reason this week is the other Nashville song- black roses by Clare Bowen. This song is absolutely beautiful and I would recommend it to everyone to listen to it above. The song went silver this week and has sold over 240k. Black Roses debuted in 2 before falling 6 for the next 3 weeks after but has now rebounded back into the top 10 this week at 7.

Nicole Scherzinger- Your Love

Chart-Run: 1-2-3-3-6

Release Date: 13th July

Chart Sales: +645k

And the first of two songs to go platinum this week is Nicole Scherzinger's very catchy song Your Love. Despite having little buzz a couple of weeks before release, the song exploded just at the right time and went straight in at 1. It has also held fantastically for a Nicole song and has now spent 5 weeks in the top 10- 4 of them in the top 5. It also could become a million seller eventually if sales continue to impress like they have been recently. The battle for the 9th and 10th million seller of the year is on- California v Fancy v Your Love v Home- which 2 will make it first if any.

Paloma Faith- Trouble With My Baby

Chart-Run: 5

Release Date: 10th August

Chart Sales: +75k

And scoring her third top 5 song off the album is Paloma Faith with Trouble With My Baby. This is another Paloma song that deserved to be massive in the charts. The song opens with a strong 75k though it might not hold on great. Anyway it is still a massive success to get a top 5 post album single 5 months after the album was released

Christina Perri Ft Ed Sheeran- Be My Forever

Chart-Run: 15-4

Release Date: 7th August [iTunes only]

Chart Sales: +125k

Despite having a new album out this year, Ed Sheeran's biggest peaking song is now his duet with Christina Perri. This also continues a really weird trend for Christina. She had 1 single earlier in the year that is a massive million selling song failing to reach number 1 [Jar Of Hearts- which actually did go number 1 but after 6 months and Human] before having a quite successful song peaking at 4 later in the year [A Thousand Years and Be My Forever]. However Be My Forever hasn't peaked just yet probably, it could have really been number 1 this week if it was on spotify

The Saturdays- What Are You Waiting For

Chart-Run: 3

Release Date: 10th August

Chart Sales: +135k

And scoring another massive top 3 hit is Buzzjack's favourite band The Saturdays. What Are You Waiting For had a great debut selling over 135k and marks another success for the band that have had around 6 number 1's in my chart. It's a good week for The Sats with a number 1 album and top 3 hit. But who's number 1, Kiesza or Leah [WELL YOU KNOW THE ANSWER IF YOU HAVE READ THE THREAD PROPERLY :)]

Leah McFall Ft Will.I.Am- Home

Chart-Run: 1-1-2

Release Date: 27th July

And despite being number 1 in the Wednesday and Friday updates, Leah falls at the last hurdle to get a third week at number 1. However Home continues to be massive selling as it goes platinum this week and it's great run should continue. Will it be the next million seller? It well could be

Kiesza- Giant In My Heart

Chart-Run: 1

Release Date: 10th August

Chart Sales: +145k

Even though I like Hideaway more- that debuted 4th due to heavy competition- Giant In My Heart gets the number 1 due to great sales [+145k] but weaker competition as well. Anyway this is the first and I don't think will be last number 1 for Kiesza in my charts. Congrats

Thanks so so so much to everyone who has read and especially thanks to people who have commented. This has been so much fun and work. Thanks again

Great album new entries from The Sats and Fka Twigs.

My top 5 from each album is (in order)

• Ego, Issues, Up, If This Is Love, Missing You

• Two Weeks, Give Up, Pendulum, Video Girl, Kicks

Absolutely amazing #1 too. I prefer Hideaway too, but both are amazing, can't wait for her album.

Great chart rundown, great #1 single and FKA Twigs album is really special.

Love the way how you did the rundown, must have have been a colossal task, give yourself a pat on the back, for a job well done.

Ooh yay, 'My Heart Will Go On' is lovely and I absolutely adore 'Titanic'. Leonardo Dicaprio <3

Thanks for commenting

Agree with all of that

My top 3 Haim songs are Don't Save Me, Days Are Gone and If I Could Change Your Mind. Amazing band though

Yay so we have 2 of the same top 3 :) and Days Are Gone is one of my faves as well

loving the format. I may have to steal it (although not this week, I'm out for the day!)

great to see Changing charting with you, love that song and it'll be big in my chart

Let It Go almost out the top 20 :cheer: :kink:

You can use the format whenever you want :) [i also have the code on a document so PM me if you ever want it]

Changing will also be massive in my chart :cheer:

Let It Go could really hold onto another week due to the fact there will probably be like 2 or 3 new songs in the top 20. Though she could be 21

Glorious is a great single choice, glad it got into your top 10 at the last moment.

Thanks for commenting again. I agree, love that it is a single

Don't know my top 5 from FKA Twigs yet but my favourites Sats ones are issues, forever is over, just can't get enough, ego, up and all fired up [i know it's 6 but I can't cut it down to 5:)]

Hey Ultraviolence!

So Glad you have expanded to top 40! I love reading your chart show :D

BIG YES and Foxes debuting top 10 :P and those opening week sales for The Sats are incredible!

Foxes should have been UK top 40 this week. Glorious is amazing really. However, Let Go For Tonight is still my fave Foxes song.

Black Widow is not as good as Fancy but it's ok.

Changing is really growing on me. It could be number 1 in my chart in a couple of weeks.

Great chart as usual! :D

Thanks for commenting. It was pretty much between Leah & Kiesza (though pretty much assured Leah had a third week) while The Saturdays were the underdogs. I wish glorious did well officially, it is amazing and is set to go top 5 next week here. My fav is Holding Onto Heaven. Hopefully changing goes to 1 in your chart
