I reckon Shakira and Neyo will probably do the best out of this lot (Top 5 both, although Ne*Yo's not on top form in his one, unfortunately). Nylon's song is good too.
Bedouin Soundclash is getting re-released because its a theme tune to a TV Advert, I think its Vodafone

Why does it take a TV commerical to make a song more popular?? I bet artists salivate when the ad men present them with a big fat cheque to use their music..

Ewww what's that (tasteless) image in your sig Callum :o

The Gina G song is far too repetitive and it has a weak chorus. :(

I prefer the Club Mix edit than the Single Version :(

They are quite similar but I agree with you Rob :-) Great video though

I'm suprised they have released La Tortura as it features a non-English language singer

Alejandro Sanz hails from Madrid and was born on 18 December 1968.

His music career is as follows:

In 1991, Sanz released his official major label debut, Viviendo Deprisa, with Warner Brothers, becoming a well-known singer in Spain thanks to his hit Pisando fuerte. The album sold a million copies and made Sanz a star in his homeland. He released Si Tu Me Miras in 1993, with contributions from Nacho Maño, Chris Cameron, and Paco de Lucía. In 1994 he releases Basico, a remix album of the best songs from the previous ones. In 1995, he recorded 3 in Venice, Italy.

His next album, Más (1997), launched him internationally, with famous singles such as Corazón partío and Amiga mía. It also became the best selling album of all time in Spain, with almost 3 million copies sold. The album stayed for 77 weeks on the top of many Spanish and Latin-American charts. He won the World Music Award for Best Selling Spanish Artist in 1999 in Montecarlo. In 2000 he released El Alma Al Aire which broke into the Billboard Hot 200 in the United States for the second time, as Más had done before. In 2001 he recorded live in Miami a MTV Unplugged album. His 2003 album No Es Lo Mismo won a 2004 Grammy Award for best Latin Pop Album, after selling two million copies in two months following its release. The year 2004 saw also the release of his Greatest Hits album. This 3-CD album came with some previously unreleased songs.

In 2005 he and Colombian singer Shakira became the first Latin duet to perform live at the MTV awards ceremony in Miami, with the performance of their hit La Tortura. La Tortura became the most popular Latin song of 2005 and was a hit throughout Latin America, Europe and even in America. In fact is was the world's biggest selling single of 2005.

He has also recorded the single "Una Noche" with the Irish band The Corrs in 2000 as well as "Me Ire", and with Lena in 2005 the song "Tú Corazón".
