why does this album have to be really pink and why does this have to not scan in tesco while staff try and find me a new one and i'm standing there like a goon with my dazzling pink cd with loads of people waiting for their shopping to be scanned.

why

(good album though)

Weirdly, my friend told me theirs wouldn't scan in HMV as well. I hope this isn't affecting her sales.

That'd be hilarious if it was the same for every album in the UK, what a cock up

The album is very good pop music so #8 in the first mids is really upsetting, was hoping in this low sales climate it would end up about there at the end of the week..

Don't get mine till Wednesday as I wasn't willing to pay £5 postage on Amazon haha, very excited

Yeah, that would be another of her management's epic fails if they've printed all her albums with an incorrect bar-code. I pre-ordered the signed version on amazon a week ago and just had an email to say it is out it's out of stock.

Slightly obsessed with So Over You & Need Ur Love  Can't stop listening to them, althought the rest of the album is good (minus one or two songs)

Hoping somehow she can stay top 10 in the album chart.

It took a little while to scan for me in Tesco but it eventually went through :drama: I don't think it'll be affecting her sales though thankfully, most people will just wait til it's sorted out.

This is such a solid album, I just adore everything Charli touches (not a loon, honest). Have just given True Romance it's first full play today, and that is also brilliant. She's obviously gone much more mainstream in her sound, but SUCKER also doesn't sound too sellout-y so I don't care. :D

Also, I'm not really sure 'Need Ur Luv' would work as a single. I was initially thinking 'Die Tonight' would (even though it's not my favourite on the album), but seeing as Charli doesn't even like the song, I doubt it'll be released.

!!!!

My signed album finally arrived today! :cheer:

After a few days with it, I give this album 3.5/5.

She's still a superior pop star for me, but there are a few duds on here, a shorter, more cohesive album would have been better. Of the new tracks I Like 'So Over You' a lot, but am not so fond of 'Red Balloon'.

I also dislike 'London Queen', 'Die Tonight' and 'Caught In The Middle'. The rest range from good to very good, with 'I Need Ur Luv' being the standout album track for me. I hope she releases this ASAP and saves the album, it's a good blend of her newer style and her True Romance sound. The single choices have been spot on, 'Break The Rules' is growing on me from hearing it in context with the album and the Rita version of 'Doing It' is SO much better than the old version.

It's a shame the album is under-performing though, I've seen nothing but positive critial praise every time I open a newspaper or website, you'd think that would have helped her somewhat:

Oh I am loving this! Famous and So Over You are my favourites. (aside from the singles) Still not a fan of London Queen :puke2:

08 Sucker

10 Break the Rules

05 London Queen

07 Breaking Up

09 Gold Coins

10 Boom Clap

10 Doing It

08 Body of my Own

07 Famous

08 Hanging Around

09 So Over You

07 Die Tonight

06 Caught in the Middle

10 Need Ur Luv

08 Red Balloon

What a poptastic smash of a record. Cut out London Queen and CITM and it's pretty perfect.

I haven't had time to listen to the whole album but Need Ur Luv, Body of My Own and Gold Coins are the best album tracks from what I've heard. Need Ur Luv has to be a single, I can see the video now

So I've just listened to this in full for the first time (I'd heard the singles obviously and a couple of album tracks beforehand) and I really love it! It's such a solid pop album, one of my favourites for a long time. It's such a shame that it's flopped, especially as it houses two hits (both of which are 12/10 amazing), although if all she's aspiring to is "Gold Coins" then it's pretty ironic. "So Over You" is great, it's nice to hear Naughty Boy do something different for a change - it would definitely make a good fourth single!

I had no idea So Over You was a naughty boy creation.

I'm still getting my life from this album, I think despite being quite "throwaway" it's gonna stay fresh for a while. Gold Coins is my favourite sin. So deliciously crunchy.

I just love this album so much, sucks that it's a flop. So man smashes in the waiting, 'Die Tonight' and 'Need Ur Luv' need to be released, especially!
