Posted September 1, 201410 yr The old thread reached 50 pages and the tour hasn't even started yet. #slaying Anyway... SIX days until it all kicks off! :cheer: Edited September 1, 201410 yr by •CDC•
September 1, 201410 yr I'm so excited! I think the acoustic mash up will be Chasing Lights / Here Standing / Leave A Light On
September 1, 201410 yr Please leave Leave a Light On OUT...Here Standing to. Oh gosh a 66% The Jam acoustic mash-up, quite certain I'll have died of horror and gone to hell.
September 1, 201410 yr There is also een chance they'll perform When Love Takes Over. I'd rather have a classic album track than a trashy cover used as a b-side (Wildfire PLEASE)
September 1, 201410 yr They always perform a cover, though. It would make sense to do 'When Love Takes Over' as the arrangement is already done and all. However, you never know, they might perform their Live Lounge 2013 medley instead for the 'typical tour cover'.
September 1, 201410 yr I'm thinking Not Giving Up or All Fired Up will open. They're both huge uptempo songs and very similar so it's probably best if they're really far apart in the setlist. Maybe NGU to open (as it's a more recent single) then All Fired Up in the encore?
September 1, 201410 yr I think they will open with What Are You Waiting For? Which I hope not unless they are jumping around the stage
September 1, 201410 yr They "could" (potentially) open with 'What Are You Waiting For' as well as it is the first single of the Greatest Hits. They usually open their tours with the first single, the exception of the Headlines! tour when they opened with 'Higher', but I think that was purely based on the intro alone. I still think going with 'Up' is the best choice. It's their second most successful single and the sirens at the start definitely sound like an intro sort of song. People will know the words and I think it will get them in the mood right away instead of the least successful singles like 'Not Giving Up' and 'What Are You Waiting For' - no matter how great they are.

[/indent] I completely agree with this, all those people going from the groupon deal might not have heard either of these songs. They need to grab everyone's attentions right from the start and have people thinking 'this is going to be a good show'. I just don't see NGU or WAYWF? having such an effect on anyone outwith the fan base.

Issues would be good as it's relatively well known and would get one of the worst done straight away....only issue is it's not an opening track really

September 1, 201410 yr I think waywf would have been the choice to open if it was a hit, but since it flopped in at 38, I think it will be a bit underwhelming for so many people who don't know it. Up is the best choice because everyone knows it but it's not TOO popular to be wasted early.
September 1, 201410 yr lol i'm sorry but Rochelle's last tweet is all kinds of annoying. Fitting in one last holiday

Agreed - straight into Disco Love because bright coloured costumes and both appreciated from beyond the fanbase! Fitting in one last holiday  If the dancing is floppy I will demand compensation.
September 2, 201410 yr Guys, I am needing some help, I am trying to plan my train times and have no idea when the Glasgow concert finishes. Doors open at 6:30 and I assume the support acts will all have 30 minute slots :drama:
