Just heard 'Vacant Space' the other day, really loving it. London Grammar vibes.

i really like george maple but i find the fact it pretty much is jessie ware if she were still good and not boring, removes from it

Just discovered her yesterday and I've haven't stopped playing her stuff since! I'm loving 'Vacant Space' especially :wub:

 

Her voice does sound like a replica of Jessie Ware though which is why I think I'm enjoying it so much.

She released a new song titled 'Lover' on Friday and it's absolutely glorious! Would really recommend listening to it, it's on Spotify etc but there's only a preview on Soundcloud which doesn't really do it justice as it misses the build up and explosion of the music towards the end.

I wanted to capture the beauty in the primal obsession of love. Messy love. Destructive love. The dopamine effect. The power of loss or struggle and what it drives humans to do. Sometimes we must fight for what we believe in, or who we love. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, sometimes we end up battling ourselves or end up consumed in our own pain. love and obsession can turn the most sane individual into a psychological mess, I wanted to capture that feeling in a film, I wanted to feel the rage and confusion of complex love, or love you simply don’t want to have but can’t seem to get away from. It could be the wrong timing, or you could be involved with someone else, it could be forbidden love, they could be completely wrong for you but there’s a magnetism that drives you completely insane.

 

This really is something special.
