Just watched Frankie's dance. I was expecting a lot worse! The first and last lifts were fine. The middle one I agree was sloppy. But the same as last week, I think Frankie really has the speediest dances, hers always look like they have the most choreography. She deserved 4 9s. Her overal dancing is the most slick, despite being dodgy with lifts.

Yup, no 10s, but definitely 4 9s. Or at the VERY least a 8 from Craig because he's a c**t, a three 9s from the other judges.

It's worrying for Frankie in the showdance in the final if she 'has no upper body strength' for lifts because you need to do like 10 crazy lifts in one dance!

First. Lee if your reaction is serious I seriously worry for your sanity calm down please.

 

Second. There is a chance that the bbc have told everyone in the 'know' to lie that would be hilarious.

 

Finally. This means a Caroline, Frankie and Jake final 3 then. And I also believe you don't have to do that many lifts in a show dance, you don't have to do any, it's a dance without rules. It's a shame we didn't get to see Pixie do the dances she had left as I imagine she could've been amazing at them. I blame the fact they gave her the cha cha in week 11!!

Unless the saturdays can make radio 2 friendly songs there's no hope of BBC supporting them again. They're on the same boat as Pixie unfortunately :/ If anything it could give Frankie a minor success as a solo artist if she wins maybe?

Yes they are flopping but at least they're still pulling off Top 10 albums unlike Pixie who missed the Top 100 with her GH and her past two singles also failed to chart Top 100. I guess my point is that a win for Frankie could actually help save the Sats whereas a win for Pixie wouldn't do anything for her career because it's already over. Sad but true.

Is Argentine Tango considered ballroom (Tango) ...or latin (Argentine) ? :unsure:

 

Even though I don't agree with the judges, the facts are there, they don't like Frankie's latin. <_< The only exception has been the Paso Double, but that might have been because it was really early on during the serie. (They clearly are more picky and harsh on her these days.)

 

She really needs the American Smooth and preferably the Argentine Tango over the Rumba like Joe said.

Argentine Tango and American Smooth are both ballroom. Rumba is Latin, I think.

 

I was catching up with mum last night and she said that they will have to do one of each next week for sure this year. So that means she will HAVE to do the Rumba (if my mum knows what she's chatting). The other will be American Smooth or AT.

 

Which means the other one will be left out for her this season. The final is usually - 1) the judges choice of one they most needed to improve from the season 2) Showdance 3)the couple's favourite.

Yeah but her GH wasn't exactly promoted. It was announced 3 weeks before release! Caravan of love was put on itunes without any pre-orders and had a messy release. I can agree with LMD tho that was atrocious :D A win for Pixie would have allowed radio 2 to support her since She has the sound for it. And like Hurricane said, by the time they release their new material, Frankie's win will be forgotten as a new series starts. The only reason Alesha Dixon got radio one support was because they wernt supporting her before. They don't tend to go back to an act after dropping them which is why it would have been beneficial for Pixie if she had won. Infact, Radio 2 did start to play Caravan Of love multiple times! At this point I'd say if neither of them can even get their albums close to silver, their careers are pretty much dead not to mention they seem more intreseted in their families now rather than music. Top 10/20 albums just shows that they have a good fan base. If they were selling alongside that it'd be a different matter altogether.

Yeah sadly I do think it's the end for the sats, success wise. Radio stations really don't seem to ever reverse their choices to drop artists. If Frankie does win there is a chance her GH got get a couple of weeks boost in the chart though. They'd need to use the exposure of Frankie and do a performance or two really soon after - but won't.

I'm still praying for an Argentine Tango and an American Smooth from Frankie as IIRC, somebody (I can't remember who exactly) danced these exact dances in the Semi-Final a couple of years ago.

 

I'm confident in the fact that she has an Argentine Tango next week as Trent said on the show that him and Pixie have an American Smooth next week and I think the producers will be trying to avoid having too many of the same dances in one night.

I think her scores were pretty accurate for the dance she did, however I think that Pixie, Simon and Mark either should've been lower on the Leaderboard or at the most on par with Frankie.
