They said (on It Takes Two) they'd like to re-dance the Tango, Foxtrot and "maybe" the Paso Doble

Frankie wants to do the Foxtrot, but just wasn't interesting enough (I KNOW it's not a show-off dance, but still). Caroline will be bringing her A-game, so Frankie has to do something amazing.

I think the Argentine Tango or the Paso would be good. The Paso was really popular within the public I think.

I think Caroline will win. Her partner has apparently been in the final twice before and never won so third time lucky (?), and apparently (this is just from what I'm reading on DS) the judges love her and treat her as their favourite?

I'd love Frankie to win but ugh. Must not get my hopes up.

She's done amazingly to get to the final

and to be the only celebrity out of the 15 to never have been in a dance-off is an achievement in itself

They have been treating her as their favorite and that Salsa definitely wasn't deserving of a 40 (), but in the final, it's the public votes that count, not the scoring. Thus, it's all about who's getting the most votes between Frankie and Caroline.

I love that you didn't spoiler the actual spoiler

Yeah, their foxtrot wasn't very memorable for the most part. My two favourite dances were the paso doble and the tango from Wicked. In fact, I think she needed that kind of mind-blowing performance in the last couple of weeks in order to win. Unfortunately I think she's proven she is fantastic, but she hasn't been able to reach her maximum potential.

Oh well, she's come incredibly far in the competition, and she's proven her popularity out of the Saturdays fanbase by keeping out of danger.

I love that you didn't spoiler the actual spoiler

Ooops. :kink: Well I think everyone knew anyway!

I loved the Tango, but I felt like that was more of a "whole" thing than just the dance itself. Let me explain. Literally everything mattered for that Tango. The green skin color, the wig, the costume, the way she went out at the end, the fact that she was the last one performing as well with that finish, the fact it happened on Halloween's week and the fact that she was the best of that night. Now, if she was to make that Tango again in the final, as in just the routine to that song, I don't believe it would be as memorable, not if others bring out their best.

Whereas I feel like the Paso and the Argentine Tango are easier to reproduce and get a similar reaction. (Although, the Argentine Tango being this week's dance might be an issue, it's too fresh)

The judges love her ballroom so I reckon they'll ask her to do the Viennese Waltz again or something?

I don't think they can do last week's dances.

I do agree with the judges that Caroline deserved the 10101010 to be honest. It was fabulous. But I think Frankie's Argentine Tango was just as flawless and its a travesty that it didn't match Caroline's score.

The Rumba deserved at Least 9999 and I'd go as far as to say it was her best Latin.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. It was a good salsa, definitely better than Frankie's for that matter, but it wasn't deserving a perfect score, she made a few of mistakes, and her legs action was week and I thought her arms were a bit awkward at times (I still believe Frankie's got the best arms action :cheer: ). I'm not saying it was shit or anything, but really, a 38 or a 39 would have been pretty suitable. Craig getting his 10 out
for that
is
ridiculous
. Especially since he had been so picky on her previously with the Foxtrot, I thought he would have noted her knees stopped lifting high after a while during her Salsa, but no, he just went away and gave him his 10.

38 seems good for Frankie's Argentine Tango, however her Rumba definitely deserved more, thank you Joe! :o I can't believe she only got 34 for that. I don't know if it's because the concept is just beautiful and adorable, but I actually enjoyed watching it back more than I do with the Argentine Tango. Don't get me wrong, the AT was better in every way, but there's something about that Rumba that was just lush. Her best latin, I agree.

But I think the scores speak volumes. 7,8,9,10 shows that a Rumba is open to interpretation, especially in Strictly where they seem to change it a lot and only keep a few Rumba steps. Craig has been giving 7s to Frankie so many times now, it's annoying. <_<

Frankie's Argentine Tango was amazing... 10.

Her Rumba was brilliant...9. What was Craig thinking giving at a 7?!

Caroline's Salsa did not deserve a perfect score by any means. It was nowhere near as clean as it should've been.

Kevin is the king of Paso Doble (so they say) so if they could do this dance again, then that would be incredible! :D

I'm certain they will get 10101010 if Paso again. Oops at calling it Pablo earlier.

I actually think the Rumba was perfect and just as deserving of the 10101010, the only thing that makes it probably not worth it is that it probably didn't have the same difficult level as some of her previous dances - no wow moments. But it was beautiful and subtle, I loved the concept.

Odds

4/5 Caroline

7/4 Frankie

It's really all to play for according to the odds, Frankie really needs to provide incredible dances next week.

8/1 Simon

12/1 Mark

Just having a look on the BBC website, nearly EVERYBODY is compiling about that fact that Caroline received the first 40 of the series for her Salsa and that Frankie didn't for her Argentine Tango.

People are saying "Frankie is the best and her consistency proves that she should WIN" and they're complaining about how her Rumba was really under marked!

Great public support Frankie!

I've seen a lot of complaining about the Rumba. And I 100% agree. I can't stop watching it. I really loved it, and the fact she got a 7 form Craig and Mark got a 9 is an absolute joke.

I don't think Caroline was worthy of 40 in the slightest, the best performance of Strictly Come Dancing was Pixie's Paso. Caroline is obviously well liked by the judges and she's the perfect winning story. She's gradually got better and better each week rather than remain constant on a weekly basis and Caroline will somehow be seen as the underdog.

Along with Frankie's Argentine Tango, both Frankie & Pixie's Paso Dobles are the best dances of the series so far, I think.
