Thanks Kath for updating the numbers :D So glad Edge of Glory has passed the platnuim mark! Hopefully Paparazzi can over time and Born This Way (the album) can become a million seller gradually!

 

Also I hope Cheek To Cheek reaches Silver before 2015 and Artpop becomes Platinum over time (if it can, I really hope it does, it's incredibly overlooked and apart from Jewels & Drugs and Swine, it's a great album)

 

Hopefully my purchase of C2C will bounce it to the no.1 spot where it belongs, album sales are that bad it's possible hahahaha

Here I was thinking 'Paparazzi' would get there first, goes to show TEOG ha impact ha trickle selling ability. Crazy how both singles have such sky high sales you'd swear they were #1s especially kween TEOG who peaked at a mere #6 the disgrace

As much as I'd like this to happen, I can't see it. It's nowhere to be seen on the charts now, and album sales are so low that it might not even be selling 100 copies a week. It could be selling even less than that! Given that it's about 95,000 sales short, reaching platinum would be an absolute miracle.

I've stumbled upon an OCC report from July this year which has new figures for 'Just Dance' on 940k and 'Paparazzi' on 590k. And in other news the tour effect has ARTPOP re-entering at #137 with new total sales of 206,386 while Cheek to Cheek's slide to #51 brings its tally to 18,519!

Nice to see Cheek To Cheek heading right back to the top 20 this week. Number 16 in the midweeks but has the potential to climb quite a bit further given they were on Radio 1 this morning.

An appearance on Strictly Come Dancing's results show eight days ago - and Gaga's current tour - created a spike in sales for the Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga album Cheek To Cheek, which rebounds 51-12 (6,257 sales). Gaga's latest solo studio album Artpop also improves, climbing 137-111, with 856 sales in the week raising its 50 week tally to 207,243.

So happy CTC came close to re-peaking like I predicted :cheer: A bit shocked ARTPOP only climbed to #111 though, especially with 856 sales lol the sales climate really is turd isn't it. Hopeful that CTC doesn't drop too much this week, and with Christmas around the corner hopefully clear 100k by the end of the year! :cheer:

CTC sales now 28,683 after charting at #25 last week AND it's #32 in the midweeks so it should clear 30k come Sunday! :D

 

Also ARTPOP dropped to #184 last week, total sales now 207,797!

CTC sales up to 31,774 now after dropping to #34 on Sunday, tho it's now crashed to #66 in today's midweeks :(

 

They need to start with the H&M holiday campaign ASAP
