I was very surprised by PI, didn't expect it to be so close to Silver.

I'll be happy to see 'Perfect Illusion' go Silver - I too didn't realise it was close at all but it definitely makes up for how it undeservedly flopped on its initial chart run.

 

'Million Reasons' being certified Gold would be much deserved; certainly feels a lot bigger than its peak suggests. The live performances of it are always breathtaking.

Born This Way (album) - 1,019,404 (doing like 12K a year)

Born This Way (single) - 900,699 (will do 70K this year compared to 40K last year, maybe ASIB boost or just streaming growth?)

 

Paparazzi - 733,284 (doing 45-50K a year)

 

Telephone - 944,384 (doing like 65K a year so she’ll have another 1M seller in the UK in less than a year)

 

Judas - 381,545 (doing 20K a year so gold in less than a year)

I was hoping we'd get a figure for 'Born This Way', the song. The last pure sales we received for it put it at a similar level to 'Telephone' and I had worked out 'Telephone' must be around the 950k figure with streams included, so assumed 'Born This Way' would be in the 900k bracket.

 

Good for 'Paparazzi'! I guess 'The Edge of Glory' could be closer to 800k.

He should be posting the rest of the singles soon.

 

Gonna ask him about some album tracks next. Starstruck, Dance in the Dark, Monster, Hair, Venus etc.
