hey everyone! i thought these polls would be a bit of fun. as a die hard friends fan i'm curious to know what everyone's opinions on certain things to do with the show are... after all, who doesn't love friends? i've also made some questions as well...:

i did consider putting this in the tv forum, but then i though that it would most likely receive more attention in the lounge, plus it's more of a discussion of opinions as opposed to a discussion based on the whole premise of the show itself (and friends is a religion, not a show :P).

the Friends threads tend to get a fair amount of members posting in them in the TV forum though, it's what the forum is there for afterall.

'the one where rachel is late' because omg jennifer aniston is brilliant. that one line when she is peeing and ross calls her to go to the hospital for an appointment and she shouts "IN A MINUTE" in that tone gets me every time.

There's not enough love for Monica. She was always so funny to me.

 

They are all brilliant at comedy though.

Favourite character: Monica

Funniest: Chandler (could he BE any funnier?)

Hottest: Rachel

Least favourite: Other (I loved all six of the main cast)

Best actress: Courteney Cox

Favourite couple: Chandler & Monica

Chandler is so overrated and cringe worthy. I never got the fuss.

 

I have been re-watching this recently and Phoebe and Rachel carry the show for me :wub:. Joey is good when he doesnt do his whole dumb as a rock thing, and Ross has his moments (IM FINE!!!) as does Monica.

There are times I think I know my favourite Friend but then I remember the other 4 (all except Joey lol) and go back to not having a f***ing clue who my actual favourite is.

 

It's MONICA! But ROSS! But RACHEL. CHANDLER omg. PHOEBE tho!

I struggle to pick highlights with Friends because it just rarely falters for me! Monica, Rachel and Phoebe are all equally amazing imo and have SO MANY hilarious moments. Phoebe would be the ultimate but I agree Monica doesn't get enough love. I never really got the fuss with Chandler or especially Joey though...

Chandler is my favourite (and funniest) character by miles. I always look forward to scenes with him in if I'm watching, although he was admittedly more on his game in the earlier seasons. His story in 'The One With The Blackout' might be my favourite Friends moment.

 

Rachel would be second though, she's rather brilliant most of the time, and carries it for me a lot of the time in the later seasons. I tend to cringe way too hard at Ross a lot of the time so he'd probably be my least favourite if I had to pick, although he does have plenty of moments just like all the rest of them.

Phoebe is DEFINITLEY my favourite character, she's just so funny, the one-liners are brilliant. I do love both Chandler and Rachel, though (especially during Rachel's pregnancy)! :lol:

I think Rachel is probably my favourite character overall, especially in the later seasons. Jennifer Aniston's delivery is spot on too. Phoebe is an extremely close second though, she is so cool.

Phoebe is definetly the funniest, but I find Rachel the most relatable and I enjoy her whole storyline and development throughout the series the most I think.
