October 24, 201411 yr My reaction is that I really don't understand what people see in 'Forever Is Over' video that they don't see in videos such as '30 Days' or 'Work'. :lol:

LOL They don't really have any AMAZING videos to be fair. They're all kinda just mildly okayish to kinda maybe goodish. October 24, 201411 yr I did warn you 30 Days wouldn't be #1! :lol: I knew it wasn't actually going to be #1! :drama: I just don't see how videos like Missing You and Up are ranked higher is all. The beach dancing in Missing You as well as the horribly obvious product placement and total lack of storyline make it one of their worst videos for me. I know a lot of people deem Up to be "iconic" but I think it's as basic as they come. It's cool for like the first 10 seconds and then the rest is a snoozefest :coffee:

It's cool for like the first 10 seconds and then the rest is a snoozefest :coffee: Up kinda' put them out there though and the tights are one of the first things raised when people think of The Saturdays - look at the NGU promo on This Morning when they were discussing would the tights be back on tour; 30 Days just doesn't have that stand out - even the artwork. It's a good video (and the song is too), don't get me wrong, but I don't think I'm alone in believing there are better videos.

Forever is over was the surprise for me as I thought it would be right towards the end of the competition with so much hate going towards it. But it recieved at least one 10 and one 11 and a big range of 8s and 7s. This allowed it to surpass even the most positives of expectations. I think the video is a little different to what they have done before which gives it a bit of a bigger edge than their older videos, not to mention Mollie and Frankie look absolutely stunning! :wub: But I think most people disliked their look and the fact that not much went on in the video. Forever is over marks the first song to get a ripe tomato in the rotten satur-rater meter with 64% positive. Rotten Satur-rater meter : 64% (Consensus: Although lacking in an original concept and being slow-paced, Forever is Over displays beautiful close-ups and a more darker video as introducing a nice edge to their music videos.)
