I'm particularly pleased to see so much Janet! Still waiting on "All For You", hopefully! Also pleased to see "Move Your Feet", "Always On Time", "In The Shadows"

Going back a little further, I heard "Hella Good" today and whilst realizing how well it's aged I knew I had to make sure you included it here :kink: Maybe some more No Doubt in the top 200? :D

Love a bit of early 2000s Janet! And yes, 'All For You' is still to come. :D

'Hella Good' is definitely one of their best. *.* I know 440th doesn't suggest that I overly love it, but almost everything in this Top 500 I really liked or loved back in the day & still do. Although there is the odd song included here which I didn't much care for back in the day, but have grown to like them a lot more in recent years. It was so hard to come up with an order. :o

I'm glad you like those! Like I said above, the Evanescence songs may seem low but to be in my Top 500 at all means that I really like them! I have to admit I wasn't keen on them back in 2003, but over the years I've grown to like those two songs in particular.

Thank you both for replying!

I'm feeling too lazy to comment in depth, but lots of great songs here etc. *.* 'What Would You Do' strongly reminds me of being in Year 9, it seemed like my class was obsessed with this song. A few underrated songs here too, for instance 'If That Were Me' and 'New Year' aren't very loved by Melanie C/Sugababes fans but I love both of those tracks! The guilty pleasure alert for this section would probably have to be 'F.U.R.B.'. :kink:

Just missing out on my Top 100 is Geri Halliwell's very successful cover of 'It's Raining Men', one of the best selling singles of 2001. She still has two more singles left to be revealed though!

The Killers - 'Mr. Brightside' is definitely a retrospective inclusion here because I don't think I even heard that song back in 2004! I only became quite a big fan of The Killers some years later, and I've even seen them twice in concert now, including at Wembley Stadium in 2013.

You Had Me' by Joss Stone strongly reminds me of starting sixth form back in September 2004! Definitely my favourite single by her.

Totally forgot how many great songs a1 had! Was obsessed with 'Caught In The Middle'!

Looking forward to the top 100 Jay! :D

100 - Jennifer Lopez featuring LL Cool J - All I Have

What a song, what a video. :kink: Believe it or not 'Ride It' became Geri's final Top 10 hit in the UK. Even the Spice Girls' reunion single 'Headlines' could only make it to #11! 'Ride It' was released in November 2004 - her first single in 3 years. It seemed like she hadn't lost her fanbase when it reached #4, but her career took a disastrous turn in 2005. A car crash documentary 'There's Something About Geri' preceded the release of single 'Desire' and third album 'Passion' - which could only chart at #22 and #41 respectively, her first release to miss the Top 10 in the UK. Almost 10 years on and Geri still hasn't released any more music here, but she did have a go at reviving her solo career in Australia with 2013's 'Half of Me' - it bombed.

Spice Girls' 'Let Love Lead The Way' was one of three singles without Geri on board. Alongside 'Holler' it reached #1 in the UK, their 9th in all. It launched the Spice Girls' third and final studio album - a #2 peaking and Platinum certifying success. However this was a major fall from grace for the Spice Girls, previously accustomed to mutli-platinum #1 albums. The girls bowed out quietly shortly after the album came out, but would reunite 7 years later for a tour and Greatest Hits. 'Holler' is still to come in my Top 100!

Something Deep Inside is fantastic, my favourite Billie track. Although the name could be interpreted in a totally different way... :kink:

Lol! Billie herself doesn't like the song for that reason. :kink:

82 - Holly Valance - Naughty Girl

83 - Girls Aloud - I'll Stand By You

84 - S Club - Say Goodbye

85 - Daniel Bedingfield - If You're Not The One

86 - Christina Aguilera - Fighter

87 - Anastacia - One Day In Your Life

88 - Girls Aloud - Life Got Cold

89 - Anastacia - I'm Outta Love

90 - Steps - Stomp

Song Of Choice:

Poor Holly Valance could only reach #16 with her ballad single 'Naughty Girl'. I think it deserved much more success than that! Australians loved it though and it became a #3 hit there.

The first couple of Girls Aloud singles to be revealed are 'I'll Stand By You' and 'Life Got Cold'! Easily my two least favourite singles of theirs from their 2002/3/4 releases, but still very good of course.

S Club thought it was time to 'Say Goodbye' back in 2003, but 11 years on and they're saying hello again! I'm going to try and get some good tickets to see them in Birmingham, fingers crossed!

Daniel Bedingfield is the only solo male artist in my Top 100! The only other male acts to appear are either as featured artists or as part of a mixed group, i.e. Steps & S Club 7.

Life Got Cold and I'll Stand By You so LOW? You're mad, I tell ya x

S Club though  Say Goodbye remains gorgeous and utterly heartbreaking :(

'One Day In Your Life' is my favourite Anastacia single. Such a shame it all went to shit for her career wise. :(

Top 90 is rather good! *.* But the other 5 songs of theirs remaining have *much* better positions. :D

'Say Goodbye' was a perfect final single. :snif: I really hope it's performed on the tour!

'One Day In Your Life' is my favourite Anastacia single. Such a shame it all went to shit for her career wise. :(

 My second favourite! Still one more song from her to come.

71 - Melanie B - Feels So Good

72 - Honeyz - Won't Take It Lying Down

73 - Victoria Beckham - Let Your Head Go

74 - S Club Juniors - New Direction

75 - Holly Valance - Down Boy

76 - True Steppers & Dane Bowers featuring Victoria Beckham - Out Of Your Mind

77 - Dannii Minogue - I Begin To Wonder

78 - Jamelia - Thank You

79 - Sugababes - Caught In A Moment

80 - Avril Lavigne - I'm With You

Song Of Choice:

Avril Lavigne's 'I'm With You' was the single which convinced me to buy her debut album 'Let Go'. It's probably my favourite song of hers, not too far ahead of 'When You're Gone' though. Her debut album reminds me of when I changed schools in early 2003, which was a daunting transition, but ultimately a really happy time in my life. The fact it was so long ago makes this song quite nostalgic/sentimental for me.

'New Direction' is S Club Junior's/8's very best single in my opinion, rather mature sounding considering they were barely teenagers at the time of its release! Both that single and Holly Valance's 'Down Boy' are back to back, and were both prevented from reaching #1 in the charts by Will Young/Gareth Gates' 'The Long and Winding Road' - pop injustice!

Sugababes 'Caught In A Moment' reminds me of the day I got my GCSE results... bought the CD singles later on that day! Some would say it shouldn't have been a single from 'Three', but I'm so glad it was.

Some more singles from the Spice Girls - 'Feels So Good' is Mel B's highest placing song here. It reached #5 in the UK with a rather impressive first week sale of 55k, but sadly did little to benefit her 'Hot' album. Meanwhile Victoria Beckham's very first and very last singles are within this section - 'Out Of Your Mind' and 'Let Your Head Go'. Victoria was always under pressure to achieve a #1 single, but neither of these quite managed it, peaking at #2 and #3 respectively.
