Posted October 27, 201410 yr What, no thread for this? It's MENTAL. Looking forward to series 2 in 2015  Edited October 27, 201410 yr by Heezus Froot
October 27, 201410 yr The first series was OK but not brilliant. The two lead characters were rather like 1970s stereotypical gay men. The only difference was that they were played by two openly gay actors so they were able to get away with it. That said, Frances de la Tour was wonderful as ever and Iwan Rheon provided some eye candy.
June 8, 201510 yr This returned for a second series last week, with the second episode airing tonight. Anyone watching/enjoying it? :o
June 8, 201510 yr The first episode was so much funnier than I remember anything from series 1 being. I'll be sticking with this!
June 8, 201510 yr Love this programme and that series opener was the best episode yet, so funny
June 8, 201510 yr I'm so disappointed! Sir Ian was in Wigan today - just yards from where I work and I didn't find out about it until I got home tonight!
June 9, 201510 yr This is a guilty pleasure for me! I really enjoyed series 1, and series 2 is also proving to be just as good if not slightly better.
July 9, 201510 yr A big improvement on Series 1! The last episode of Series 2... I love Penelope! http://33.media.tumblr.com/09434120c56416a6117ab21305305f8a/tumblr_nr4j4bKUqh1r6u9rlo3_250.gif
July 9, 201510 yr I really liked Series 2. I hope they make more! The last episode seemed to have an element of finality to it. Still, it could yet return. Overall, it was an improvement on the first series, although there were still some parts - such as the nonsense with the cake - that were awful.
July 10, 201510 yr Oh, I thought the cake stuff was amusing! I'm not usually into slapstick but Penelope amuses me in any situation she's in tbh.
