Quite weird that Radio Dept. chose Czech out of all languages for their song oops. The phrase is so super close to Russian I could understand what was being said there too haha.

Oh come on, it's not like we had 6 six days for voting... I barely remember half of the songs and I listened to them several times. We did have enough time, if the deadline would be Christmas, some of the voters would start listening to the songs under the tree.

True. I busted a gut to get them online ASAP and gave 2 weeks, so it's hardly a case of "ooh I can't make my mind up" it's more a case of "I forgot/can't be bothered". People manage with twice the number of songs for buzzjack in the same timeframe. Start listening tonight, and tomorrow night, do buzzjack at the weekend is my advice then we can have a fab exciting wednesday evening results show (and it IS going to be exciting, it's stunningly close with a dozen tracks easily in contention so far. Wide open for anyone to win. Except mine!) :lol:

Well I had nearly left this too late but I gave them all a proper listen last night and it seems like a good contest with some pretty clear top songs for me. Will double check that today and send them.

but there is no harm in extending the deadline, it doesn't matter about hypotheticals or how things should be, as i said about getting the best contest possible

The whole point is though, that two weeks is more than long enough to listen to all the songs. How hard is that really?

Cherrybomb is quite annoying - perhaps that is the point.

One more cracker in the second half and a few more good tunes amid the crud.

Jesus, the genre that is electropop can't die soon enough. Baffling how bland it is.

 

To make matters worse: There are like 15 songs entered you could throw into that genre box (bin) and they all sound exactly the same.

one song was my clear runaway favourite. the next two are fab as well. Quite a forgettable bunch of songs overall though. Disc 2 is piss poor, although it does have 2 massive highlights.
