Well they set that up for Foggy to win, the harder trial, the better edit tonight. He's seems a nice guy though so it is all good. Well done to him and Jake the 2 most deserving finalists.

Yep, everything is a conspiracy when it doesnt go your way.

And how do you account for the 80% of airtime that was devoted to Jake all the way through?

The right person won. This guy should have won Sports Personality of the Year several times but was passed over for some over-paid, more highly noted (piss-easy) sport!

I swear some people are so naive, but anyway let's not turn this into an argument because you cant handle an opinion again, let's just be happy for Foggy.

You know what though - a lot of people said this was the worst of the series - but I really liked it. It was 100% better than last year's. I actually enjoyed it - and thought, on the whole, (apart from the awful Gemma Collins) that they were all nice people. Even Edwina was entertaining in there (and I truly dislike the woman otherwise). They all did well. The trials though WERE much easier than previous years.

Yes really happy for Foggy! I liked Jake too though so if he won that would have been fine too. Great Top 2.

If I'm honest - I wouldn't have minded either of those two - I think the right two made it to the final.

Note! The three finalists were all northerners. Nay! The final four were all northerners!

It was a decent series, there have been better, but there have been worse too.

People will always say it was the worst series, until next years which will be even worse. It is one of those things in life we tend to look back on things favourably.

Seeing as though you are the King of conspiracy theories, it is interesting to note that you ignore that Jake has been given a significant push throughout the series and Foggy has not.

Delighted for Foggy, he came across as such a decent guy <3

I'm gonna miss I'm a Celeb :( Its been a real fun series!

Jimmy was the one they were pushing, when he left they really had no choice but to get on the Jake and Foggy train. Jake was put in as a bit of eye candy I'm sure and they soon realised they could get plenty of air time out of him not just the 'hot' shots.

Jimmy leaving was probably the best thing that could have happened for Jake and Foggy tbh. Foggy was pretty much just there until Jimmy left.

So relieved Foggy won, I would've rather seen Mel win but at least it wasn't Jake 'I'm desperate to be a celebrity' Quickenden!

If my memory serves me right, hasn't the winner usually been the contestant to do the eating trial in the final? I'm sure Kian did it last year and Charlie Brooks before him?

I won't lie I buy in to Sammy's train of thought with this episode - Foggy got a very favourable edit BUT saying that Jake has throughout the show.

I think for both of them deserved to be in the final. While you could tell Jake was slightly uncomfortable, he came across very real and as such a nice guy. And Foggy, I think he went on a real journey and you can see how much the win touched him. I wanted him to win.

It was a good series - certainly not as explosive as other series, but there was a good balance of contestants I thought, and thankfully it stopped being the Gemma show after a few days!

Why do people say Jake is desperate? Desperate compared to what? I mean Foggy must be desperate for money or why do it and Mel's career is obviously struggling compared to her heyday so she is desperate for a boost.

If people don't like Jake fair enough but he is a guy who probably got offered more money than he has ever had after leaving X factor and not knowing what to do next, he'd have to be a fool not to take it.

They are all in there for fame/money/career boost it is ridiculous to single Jake out for it. It is not like the final 2 with him are Victoria Beckham and Usain Bolt who obviously don't need those things.

He has thrown himself into every task and everything that has been asked of him, has been humble enough to be self-deprecating about himself and his 'fame'. He is as fully deserving to win as the other 2 imo.

It is quite desperate - out of X Factor and into I'm a Celebrity with barely any time inbetween. To me he comes across as quite fame-hungry, he doesn't seem to care whether he'll be singing, modelling, TV personality or anything, he just wants to be famous. If he wanted to sing, he'd be in the studio now instead, or booking a gig.

Foggy was a better winner than Jake so yay I guess but still no huge fan of his. Wasn't the best final ever but a fairly enjoyable series on the whole. Not vintage but not bad.

I knew Carl would get the frigging eating task - the most horrible of the lot! This is why I admired Kendra so much - I didn't think she'd do it but she did. If I was in there - this is the only trial that I'd wimp out on - no way would I eat any of that shit!

I actually don't find the eating task that bad. I'd probably much rather do that one than some of the others, for example the one Jake did where his head was in a helmet full of critters. To eat a fried (or whatever it was) tarantula - that one doesn't make me squeamish at all. I'm actually kind of curious.

To be honest, this series died as soon as Gemma left and she is arguably still the most talked about as well. Stupid girl should have stayed though and powered through the trials, I then think she could have won.
I think this series would have been a lot better if Gemma and Craig didn't quit and Jimmy didn't leave first but it was still a decent series.

I found her totally vacuous and more than a bit boring. I just don't get the hype about her I suppose. I think Craig was a loss and I would have been behind him all the way to win had he still been in it. Gemma though - no - she's been the very, very worst of any of the Towie/Chelsea lot who have been in (I actually thoroughly enjoyed Joey, Mark and Hugo from previous series). I think Edwina (despite what I think of her personally) was a real bonus to replace her with.

Both Charlie and Ashley did an eating trial together before Charlie won - so I don't think that made a difference at all that year. And I'm not sure why the eating trial is made out to be the worst of the three (this year in particular)? I'd rather eat a few things that aren't exactly what you'd call a delicacy than have myself near-drowning in a tank of water with creatures all around me... Mel really wasn't given the "easy" trial at all. If anything, it was Jake.
