There are fillers for both albums. Fever as the album track is the standout from the album even surpassing Can't get you out of my head for me occasionally.

Light Years has more fillers. I usually skip Bittersweet Goodbye *puke*, Under the influence of love and Kids. The album would've been fine without those three tracks.

'Bittersweet Goodbye' is the only one on Light Years I can't stand to sit through, other tracks (like Under The Influence..., Loveboat, Kookachoo) are naff in isolation but when playing the album through I think they work perfectly.

You kiss me, I'm falling

#02 On A Night Like This // Light Years // Avg: 9.66 (11: Nick F1, Davidson, Simon, Mr Aly, Red Blooded Man, Jay), (10: Acidburn, Slowdown'73, Ultraviolence1989, Gezza, Stuart25, Aled, Jester, bartsimpson, gooddelta, OceanBlue, MichaelCarty, Kyliefan'14), (7: Liam, Chapman)

So after much waiting we have come down to the final 2, and in the runner up spot is "On A Night Like This", which we all knows what the #1 is. Released in September 2000 as the 2nd single from her 7th album "Light Years". The song was originally sung by Swedish singer
in 1999. But Kylie's version is much more well known and became a much bigger success, as it was released worldwide. The music video was a sort of like homage to the movie "Casino", where Kylie plays the Sharon Stone character and actor Rutger Hauer played her mob husband, and caused controversy due to Kylie appearing in a see through dress, after she jumps into a swimming pool, there were even rumours of a Director's Cut of where she appears nude, but no video as such exsists. In the UK it followed in the successful footsteps of her previous comeback by hitting #2 and topping the charts in Australia and also hitting top 3 in Sweden. In other countries it hit top 20 in Ireland and Finland and also hit top 40 in Belgium and New Zealand.

I can keep a secret and throw away the key

#01 Confide In Me // Kylie Minogue // Avg: 9.857 (11: Regina, Liam, Gezza, Stuart25, Aled, Mango, xxxx. Chapman, Luciano, Kyliefan '14), (10: Acidburn, Slowdown'73, Ultraviolence1989, Nick F1, Davidson, Jester, MIKEMYER, MichaelCarty, Red Blooded Man), (7: Simon, Vibe)

So here we have it, after such a long long wait, Buzzjack's ultimate Kylie #1 is none other than "Confide In Me" with a whopping average of 9.857, and was the clear winner from the start, and did manage to almost maintain a 10. average, but apart from the 2 7's and the 7 8's and 9's, they brought it down a bit, but still a fantastic average for such a beautiful song, with 10 11's and 9 10's. For one thing I am very happy with this choice of winner and has received much love through the years, as it marked the first turning point in Kylie's career, and also marked a significant change in sound for her. In 1993 after leaving PWL and signing to DeConstruction, "CIM" was actually the first song recorded for the album and was straight away chosen as the first single, and is known for it's multi genre style, built around pop, techno and eastern music. Another song
which was recorded during the same time was also considered being released, but was scrapped and instead wound up as the b-side. Released in August 1994 as the lead single from her 5th album "Kylie Minogue" it became a smash hit in the UK by peaking at #2, (being blocked by Wet, Wet, Wet's "Love Is All Around") and in Australia it became her 4th #1, as well as topping the charts in South Africa and Finland, and hit top 10 peaks in Japan, France and Sweden, and top 20 in Ireland, New Zealand, Belgium and Swiss.

So there you have it guys, "Confide In Me" is your #1 fave Kylie single, after 60 singles this is your #1 and thanks to everybody whose voted and made this a big success.

Great to see Confide in me at no1. Totally deserved.

Thanks to Acidburn for all your hard work in doing this run down of Kylie singles and albums. I really enjoyed it. It would be interesting to do the same for other artists!!

Sorry, I didn't know you had done others. I will have to check them out.

I can't argue with that winner, even if it's not my personal favourite.

Thanks for doing this, I've thoroughly enjoyed participating and watching the results be revealed!
