Crying at the midweek position for All Of Me...there really are no words.

I did laugh when I saw it that high :(

Sales seem weirdly low all round, I would have thought Calvin would have mustered a few more. Maybe he's likely to get a weekend effect?

Midterm is over clearly

Hozier and Maroon 5 should be top 40 by Sunday imo!

I dont mind the Cheryl song but That miming on XFactor did it for me- just underlines she has very little talent.

So come on Ed!

It confussed me as she has been analysing the singing of contestants these past 2 months

You're still confused by her miming on X Factor 5 years after she first did it?

Cheryl doesn't have a good live vocal so always mimes so that she can put on a good show. She's never sung live on a big show like this unless she's accompanied by Girls Aloud. I don't know why it's still so shocking to everybody!

Yeah I just googled to see a whole host of trashy "omg, did Cheryl mime on X Factor?!" articles. In 2009 that would have been acceptable, in 2010 maybe, but at this stage people are just feigning ignorance for the sake of being able to act enraged. Cheryl always mimes on X Factor, anyone with a brain should have realised that by now.
Also could be belated climbing since it was only Friday night that Sia performed on Graham Norton.

I didn't know that since I don't watch Graham Norton. Thanks for filling me in Liam :D

This update is bonkers!

Cheryl may just miss the #1 spot seeing 5k copies in front. And Legend is #4, assuming it's All Of Me. I assume this and the following were performed on X Factor or something?

  • Who is Henry Krinkle and what is it called?
  • Chandelier and I Need Your Love climbing?
  • What is the OneRepublic song and Joss Stone titled?
  • And what is the James Blunt?
  • OP and Dark Horse performed too?

Open Wide was 10 or so places higher than its stream inc. position so no wonder, since these songs often catch up with streams (like Stay High, Sail, Riptide etc.).

If you read the thread, you may know some of those questions :kink: Cheryl's most likely missing a load of sales, Chandelier is back from Graham Norton, John Legend performed both All of Me and Ordinary People on X Factor, Dark Horse was performed by a contestant, Calvin/Ellie isn't I Need Your Love, it's a new song, and the rest can be found out on iTunes quite easily... :kink:

I don't want to sound rude to Martin but is there any reason why the titles aren't put in the updates, or is it just laziness

And in most cases, each title would likely only appear once, esp. in the top 40 :)

I was going to change it last night but forgot...

How rude :( have you got time to spare. -_-

It can be confusing when there are artists who have several recent hits you wonder what they are...

Could I suggest putting just the titles in, since they are more unique than the artists in most cases.

Such blind acceptance is more worrying.

I usually edit in the titles shortly after the update is posted, I haven't had a chance to do so yet.

OK but I meant it would be better to have titles instead of artists.

Any confirmation on the Cheryl situation?

I'm not saying that there definitely is data missing, but how often does it happen?
