November 9, 201410 yr I've always found UP IMPOSSIBLE to predict for some reason, I think the subtlety of most of the stuff and the general lack of discussion/hype anywhere really makes it hard for me to gauge how songs are going to be received.

November 9, 201410 yr Obviously I can't guess - though that would be best chance of getting everything right using a pseudonym :lol: Loving the legion panel chris - my faves were Saturn Girl Matter-Eater Lad and Element Lad in those days. :wub: Did you know: John Peel had a copy of a single by The Legion Of Super Heroes (band) in his Most Precious box of singles? Dream Girl had a musical named after her (sort of) Brainiac 5 has featured in songs. Karate Kid had his name rented for the movie franchise. Star Boy is rumoured to have a huge schlong in fandom, and Element Lad gay (he ended up with a literal transgender girlfriend). Shrinking Violet and Light Lass dumped their boyfriends eventually and hooked up together.

I dont enter BJSC so I can't compare but I like the level of discretion we have in UP. In fact, I'm the person who points out their favourites most. I should quit that.

November 10, 201410 yr Bre's top 5 would be a travesty in my opinion. Too much sub-BJSC mush there. Thank f*** somebody had the balls/lack of brains to enter Goat. No way it'll win but what a tune and the Where the Wild Things Are on acid video is great.

November 11, 201410 yr I doubt my prediction will actually be anywhere near reality, the only song I'm quite sure will do well is 'Malachite'. It may just be the lack of discussion/'hype' but UP really is extremely difficult to call compared to BJSC.
November 11, 201410 yr Best UP in years - found 3 great songs and perhaps one of the future faves. Their album sounds interesting, been spotifying it.
