Posted March 26, 200619 yr Westlife's next single is going to be a cover of Garth Brooks 'The Dance'. They are also heading to no1 in Australia with 'You Raise Me Up' We can reveal the group are releasing a cover version of Garth Brooks's The Dance as their next single in Ireland and the UK. Shane, 26, added: "We have recorded it and it's not even on the album so this is a big surprise for fans. "Garth has been in contact with us and says he's never heard such a good version of the song. "He wants to come and meet us and may even appear at some of our shows in the future and sing it with us. "We think this could be one of our biggest hits ever and we can't wait to get back to Ireland and release it. "We've recorded three different versions of the song for the single including an acoustic one. I think the fans are really going to like this." Well my fingers are crossed for a bomb, what about everyone else? :P
March 26, 200619 yr I doubt it. It must have cancelled, no news from then. Also you raise me up was at #8 and not near #1, how they said that? I doubt this gonna be their new single.
March 29, 200619 yr And what if it's a new song? Also Hey whatever was a new in 2003 and charted at 4. It depends on the promotion and the way they will sing it.
March 30, 200619 yr Do you like this song anyway? I think it's great, but not as big as you raise me up.
March 30, 200619 yr It's not on the album but I am not sure if it's recorded and planned for release. I have heard it from garth brooks and it's good one.
