November 23, 201410 yr Author 13. Alejandro "You know that I love you, boy, hot like Mexico!" niqrrmev4mA The video isn't my favourite by hers, but the song is so good! Another component of the extremely strong The Fame Monster EP. Super catchy, fun lyrics and a great concept. It might not be her most adventurous or experimental song, but it's certainly one of her strongest. Unlike a lot of her earlier songs, it hasn't aged very much either - still sounds quite fresh.

P2JbVZRpNbw One of the ARTPOP smashes that never happened! :cry: Definitely a highlight from the album for its sexual lyrics and hypnotising instrumental. The chorus is super catchy and this would've been such a smash hit if she released it as a single.
November 26, 201410 yr 'Sexxx Dreams' and 'Venus' are the golden moments on a very flawless album. I feel if she went with a lot more 'Sexxx Dreams'-like songs the album would be a lot better received. Not that I can fault ARTPOP but just in general it seemed no one was really there for the likes of MJH, 'Swine', 'Fashion' and 'Donatella', which baffles me to this day~

November 26, 201410 yr 'Donatella' is the main offender though. (well, 'Jewels + Drugs' is really but I like to forget that exists). As for 'Sexxx Dreams', it's the shining diamond of ARTPOP. :wub: I wish the chorus was like the iTunes Festival performance though, the additional "you are in my dreams" parts in the background taint it slightly.
