I must admit, I've never been overly keen on him aside from the odd single (namely, and only, 'Lego House' from '+'), but this album really has proven how great he is. 'Thinking Out Loud' is a real gem among a host of other tracks that range from 'very meh' to 'very good'. And despite Ed's best attempt at writing a bitter song about ex flame Nina Nesbitt hasn't got him very far as her début album 'Peroxide' is yet to come.
November 16, 201410 yr 'Thinking Out Loud' is by far and away the best thing Ed has done yet, hope it makes a high appearance on the singles chart. And MUCH EXCITE for this btw.
November 16, 201410 yr Isn't it a bit early tho :o Looking forward to the countdown, which has started decent with Eddy

Well... you'll just have to wait and see. :kink: (your sig *.*) Isn't it a bit early tho :o Looking forward to the countdown, which has started decent with Eddy cba waiting any longer, and there's 100 more songs than last year, so could take a bit longer also. :o

It's not an album I've listened to excessively, but it is one of my favourites of the year. 'Trouble' is a new CLASSIC (much more-so than Iggy Azalea's album x) and 'Undo' remains one of the best ballads of the year (whether that'll be reflective in the songs chart remains to be seen :kink:).
November 17, 201410 yr Slaynna *.* I hope you've dug out her other two English language albums Calum! That Eurovision shade though! http://37.media.tumblr.com/4a1ba270fe79feb647386d8f03cfc989/tumblr_n4tab6LFJw1qcpop2o1_400.gif

WHO you ask? I don't really know either if I'm honest. Just kind of discovered them out of thin air, gave the album a listen and it's become one of my firm favourites from this year. A lot of cliché boy band songs, but it's definitely worth a listen. Some amazing songs in there, particularly the title track and most of the latter half of the album. Looking forward to seeing what else they can bring to the table (maybe next year). 2/3 of them are v good looking also.

But is there anything as good as 'Trouble' or 'Undo'? :o
November 17, 201410 yr Author 22 http://downmusicas.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/cd-alexandra-stan-unlocked-2014.png Unlocked Alexandra Stan 1-3-4-5-7-8-10-11-13 9 weeks HIGHLIGHTS Thanks For Leaving Kiss Me Goodbye Cherry Pop Give Me Your Everything Dance Holding Aces Next up is the first of several #1 albums this year. Thought this would end up higher than it did, but I also thought it'd spend more than nine weeks in the album chart. I always thought Alexandra was just a bit of a joke really with 'Mr Saxobeat' being the comedic song that it was, but she really, really surprised me with 'Thanks For Leaving' which is 100% one of the best songs this year. So dramatic, such flawless lyrics. But then we got 'Cherry Pop' and it was like a return to the 'Saxobeats' era. But this is a fabulous album nonetheless.
November 18, 201410 yr Author 21 http://descargaralbum.com/jpg/imgs/12/122583b.jpg Glorious Foxes 2-4-10-12-14-13-9-11-10-14-13 11 weeks HIGHLIGHTS Let Go For Tonight Glorious Holding Onto Heaven Night Glo Beauty Queen Count the Saints I fell in love with Foxes after hearing 'Let Go For Tonight' and was ready for this album to smash my chart, but it just all sort of fell a bit flat. It's a nice album to listen to, but it was a bit of a disappointment when it finally came around. The singles are the main highlights from the album, but 'Night Glo' (and the other two) are very beautiful. She needs to re-release the album, but get rid of some of the deadwood, like Iggy. :kink:
November 19, 201410 yr 'Glorious' always felt rather anticlimatic for me. 'Let Go For Tonight' was rather incredible and easily a stand out, everything bar 'Youth' was just average.
November 19, 201410 yr Author 20 http://msi.imeg.cz/107490.jpg The Power of Love Sam Bailey 2-2-3-4-5-6-7-11-18-19-18-19 12 weeks HIGHLIGHTS Skyscraper And I Am Telling You There You'll Be The Power of Love Superwoman Compass Possibly the only X Factor act I've supported from the very beginning of the live shows right until the moment they won (maybe because it's the only time it's happened). Sam's album was a bit premature in coming around, and hopefully it won't be her last, but needless to say it is amazing. The voice is everything, and there are so many highlights on here, but there's a couple of duds, in particular the duet with thingy, can't even remember his name. Nicole is LIFE-GIVING on 'And I Am Telling You' though!
November 19, 201410 yr Foxes missing the top 20 :drama: Calum, your love for Night Glo has given me life! :cheer: Edited November 19, 201410 yr by Cameron
November 19, 201410 yr O LAWD at Sam Bailey. Actually did have a listen and it was rubbish for the most part, cheap cover versions aimed at 40 year old women :(

Although one trophy she can claim is finishing ahead of former love interest Ed Sheeran, who only managed #25. Anyway, this album was such a disappointment. I probably had expectations set far too high, but a) it drags on a bit when you've got 20 tracks to wade through and b) 'Way in the World' wasn't there, which was ANNOYING. 'The Hardest Part' is easily the best thing about this album though, such a beautiful song.
