February 2, 201510 yr WHAT EVEN IS THAT NAME. Can ye not understand that other countries have their own native names?? It's really not that difficult to pronounce or grasp..
February 2, 201510 yr Can ye not understand that other countries have their own native names?? It's really not that difficult to pronounce or grasp.. Tbh, for Irish people this is normal, but for people outside it's not. I would pronounce it Tad-Huh-G because of my native tongue. Same way names like Kees, Jan, Johan and Grietje will be weird to non-dutchspeaking

Same way names like Kees, Jan, Johan and Grietje will be weird to non-dutchspeaking Ya but if it was a Dutch woman who decided to name her child a Dutch name than I wouldn't be shocked or start slating it because I'm not familiar with it. It's a bit ignorant insulting traditional irish names that are extremely common. It's not like she named him something completely weird after a plant or direction on a compass
