No sign of One Republics RED charity release in the top 100 like Wyclef & Queen got too? I assume next weeks one could be The Killers annual Xmas single!?

#173 OneRepublic - I Lived ((RED) Remix)

 3. Taylor Swift - Blank Space

iTunes #1 is still on for Friday at her current pace!

YES! :cheer:

We need a Taylor smiley :D

Hope it gets top 5 at least. Don't know about #1 but we'll see...

What is it about Blank Space that is so infectious? It's not even that catchy. But I love it.

Strong vocals is what draws me to it. I didn't particularly think the VERSES and the 'mmm-mmm' in Shake were that great tbh.

It sounds so much like another song, I just can't think what! :D

I get this with almost EVERY song I hear. It must be some sort of disorder

A big update for 'Wrapped Up' has now put it up to #2 combined, only just behind Band Aid 30 (0.9866)! Has he performed somewhere?

Yeh thanks that's the one :)

He mimed an edited 2 minute version of it on Surprise Surprise, wtf at the increase

Very close in the top four, presumably Graham Norton should lift Take That to #1 on iTunes on Friday night/early Saturday.

I wonder if there's an outside chance that These Days could become the first non-sales #1 to top the chart officially? I'm guessing it will end up about 5-8k behind Band Aid on sales in the end so if they have something like 4k streams it probably won't be enough to make up the gap. Could potentially be a close shave though if Norton boosts it significantly. Would be something of a spectacle even though it would be by default due to Band Aid not being available on streaming sites.

It does look as though it will probably be Band Aid for a second week and then a low selling #1 for Olly or Taylor Swift and then a return for Band Aid when the phyiscal is released and then X Factor for Xmas.

I'm all wrapped up and suffocating at all the attention Olly is getting. Stop performing it already, you've got your top 3 hit. If spending another week at #3 wasn't bad enough, you're trying to get to #2 (or #1 god forbid :o)

3+99. Taylor Swift - Blank Space

8. James Newton Howard - The Hanging Tree

17+88. Beyoncé - 7/11

21. James Bay - Hold Back the River

22+42. David Guetta - What I Did for Love (feat. Emeli Sandé)

45. Kid Ink - Body Language (feat. Usher & Tinashe)

46. George Ezra - Listen to the Man

53. Ariana Grande & The Weeknd - Love Me Harder

Take That very close to Band Aid looking at those popularity bars, the number 1 race really looking to heat up over the weekend, everything to play for, im team Take That for this week.

Olly Murs Wrapped Up has 3 versions at number 5, 38, and 40, that should indicate he will be safe for number 3.

Does Graham Norton performances usually have a big impact?

Yeah Graham usually has a decent impact for an artist, esp albums wise. We wont get sales for Fridays mids either will we so unless TT go 20% or more ahead on itunes we wont be sure of the No1 until Sunday evening :o

I'm not a massive Take That fan, but I'm backing them this week. It's one of their more decent efforts.

Seeing as the sales are quite close it would be good to see them take #1 on iTunes before Graham Norton, with Graham Norton cementing them at #1 for the rest of the weekend. It is 100% possible for Take That to pull back this number 1.

We get Friday mids sales most of the time :kink: Not with Music Week but from the other source.

I was sorta wanting to be surprised for once  , no way I wont be able to not look!!

One of his songs I remember debuted at #2 and climbed to #1 later, so it's worth a try!

By my calculation when combined Olly Murs is no.1

Band Aid-100%

Take That-96.58%

Taylor (3 & 97)-90.27%

Olly (5,38,39)-78.20 + 12.11 + 11.71= 102.02%

Take That are VERY close to that number 1 now on the latest Kworb update, but then it looks like Taylor might be coming for it too, she just had a massive increase!

im team Take That for this week.

We'd never have guessed

A four horse race for #1 on Sunday then, quite exciting! (Ok maybe a three and a half horse race)

Thing is with Taylor is that she has no streaming, even if she takes the #1 on iTunes I can't see her making #1 overall, at least this week.
