YES! Should have been the result of the Critic's Choice as well instead of another male singer-songwriter. Very happy with that result although it's still a shame Kwabs hasn't made it in the Top 5, like MNEK before him.

Best result ever... I really wanted Lapsley inside the top 5 though, there are some great tracks from her Station, Falling Short. if anyone wants to check them out.
I don't think it matters THAT much. Royal Blood didn't come top 5 last year but had a much bigger year than 3/5 of the actual top 5.
Very glad we didn't get an extremely predictable James Bay win here as well as the Critics Choice, I hate when that happens as it doesn't give any act a chance, I think this'll be good for the winners, reminds me of Haim beating Tom Odell in 2013.

James Bay is the obvious big new act of 2015, I'm guessing the only reason he didn't win this is that he already won the BRITs one and the BBC don't want to be that predictable (not that that stopped Sam Smith last year but nonetheless).
Does Rae Morris have a chance of winning this or has she already been announced in the top 5?

She didn't even make the top 5 unfortunately!

Yes! Love Years & Years. 'Take Shelter' is still my favourite from them. Really hoping it gets a re-release this year.

I can't see them doing as well as Ellie Goulding/Jessie J/Sam Smith/Adele but if they could match Haim's success I'd be happy. Hopefully better than Michael Kiwanuka...

Rae does seem like she's shaping up for Laura Mvula type success, if that, sadly. The album's out in a couple of weeks and should go top ten but I doubt it will do much more than that.

Woo for Years & Years, I'm getting into them a lot recently.

You need to hear their next single 'King' . 'Take Shelter' is a decent track but this blows all their other stuff out the water, and i can see it going close to #1! I think personally they will have a great year, and might surprise a few people!!

Frank Ocean should have won that year the Kiwanuka guy won!! <_<

Yeah, I think I've accepted now that she isn't going to be the next Ellie Goulding like I was hoping she would. A shame really, she sounds like she has great potential. Years & Years are deserved winners though, just heard 'King' and love it already :D
