Living for love release date in the uk is now February 22nd. Which makes more sense than Friday 20th.

I was told that iTunes usually lists pre-orders' release dates as a Friday and it is later changed to the Sunday. Don't know why they do that.

 

So 6 weeks until release and we've got 3-4 weeks until the video (first week of February). Hopefully that'll be when Madonna starts properly promoting (can't be any later!) - there's rumours of a Grammy performance but I think that's just come about with people putting two and two together (Grammys are same week as the video).

I've heard it a few times on capital as well and im sure once the song proves to be a hit when its released on february 22nd it willll explode in airplay spins.

Really surprised this isn't in the top 1,500 considering how much Capital airplay it's been getting. Radio 2 have played it a fair few times too.

I'm not sure how well this will do for Madonna. Its better than the awful Nicki Minaj collaboration from MDNA but nothing fantastic. I think her career is well and truly in decline now.

She's confirmed to appearing at the Grammys .

Good to hear it! It has been quite the grower on me too. I hope Capital start playing it some more; I'm still yet to hear it on radio.

It was on Capital all the time, they've played it 86 times in less than a month. Sadly, As it was doing nothing on pre orders it looks like it's been taken off the playlist.

Maybe they;ll re-add to their playlist when the song becomes a hit? *fingers crossed*

Shame they've taken it off. I guess it's logical considering it's not re-entered the Top 1500 on iTunes and it was probably a gamble adding it in the first place.

 

Would be nice if they re-added it when the promotion kicks in next month and ends up having an effect on pre-orders, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

plays have slowed down a lot, but it's still very early. Hopefully when Radio 2 playlist it (which I hope happens) they'll start spinning it more often at Capital.

In related news, 'Living for Love' falls to #92 on the UK Radio Airplay Chart, with 874 plays and an audience of 7.817m. So 462 more plays than last week!

It was odd for Capital to rinse this so much for the 3 weeks so far away from its release and then pretty much stop! I really hope they start playing it again soon. heart and R2 support too and a Brits performance. Then I can see it going Top 10 hopefully.
