Is this getting a music video?! It deserves one and some sort of promotion too. Madonnas best in absolutely ages, maybe since Hung Up!

Madonna's manager Guy Oseary said that a video would premiere the first week of February. As for promotion, she has the Grammys and the BRITs so far (the latter has yet to be confirmed but all signs are suggesting she will perform there).
Video was filmed in NY. Seems to have been done by the ever underwhelming Steven Klein, so it'll probably just be B&W bondage central.
VIDEO PLEASE. Preferably before anyone grows tired of the song...
There's rumours of bull fighting wardrobe theme.

'Living for Love' is up 10 places to #82 on the UK Radio Airplay Chart. I'll give plays/audience numbers when/if they're available.

Madonna has confirmed the Brits:

Hello to all my UK Rebel Hearts ❤️❤️❤!!! See you at the Brits on Feb 25th #BritsImMadonna #livingforlove #rebelheart

So glad - I really want 'Living For Love' to do something here. At the moment it's looking to majorly flop.

The tracking list for the remix EP has been revealed:

  1. Madonna – Living for Love – Djemba Djemba Club Mix 5:48
  2. Madonna – Living for Love – Erick Morillo Club Mix 6:12
  3. Madonna – Living for Love – THRILL Remix 5:11
  4. Madonna – Living for Love – Offer Nissim Living For Drama Mix 6:34
  5. Madonna – Living for Love – Offer Nissim Dub 7:15
  6. Madonna – Living for Love – DJ PAULO Club Mix 8:13
  7. Madonna – Living for Love – Mike Rizzo’s Funk Generation Club 7:03
  8. Madonna – Living for Love – Dirty Pop Remix 4:58

I think all can be heard on Madonna's YouTube channel. There will also be an exclusive Michael Diamond remix on Spotify. Shame there's no full version of the Tracy Young remix. :(

Oh wow. The Living For Drama remix is amazing. I'm not a fan of the original version though so I've been looking at remixes.

This one below is called the n-vision Remix.

I love it.

Could be part of the music video I think which will later be cut down and used throughout in the final version. Along with the descriptions of the video that were previously released, I'm getting very 'Girl Gone Wild' vibes.

I'm not keen on that remix, James, sorry. :( The production reminds me too much of Scooter.

Does anyone know how well this has been doing in preorders? I haven't been following. I've just preordered myself and was curious as I can't see it in the itunes charts anywhere.

Not well. It's not really getting any pre-orders. Capital are still playing it in the day though - just very rarely - like once a day.

Music video + Grammys + Brits could still save it though. I'm surprised and disappointed the R2 didn't playlist it.

It officially gets sent to radio next week so hopefully Radio 2 will playlist it then. Not sure why Capital were able to play it already.

Next week? Only 2 weeks before release?

Btw, has it always been slated for release on a Wednesday? The 25th of February? (after the Brits I guess)

I know that C-list on Radio 2 will have no significant effect on the single pre-orders but it's good to see them still supporting her.

As for the release date, that's recently changed. I'm hoping it's a mistake but it seems to coincidental that it's the same day as the BRITs and it's the sort of stupid decision her team would make. I suppose we should be thankful they didn't do a Friday release!

r2 c list won't make much difference but if it makes it to the a list that should have an impact. Heart would be good.

I was hoping Madonna might manage top ten with the Brits performance - especially since the Grammys is this weekend. But a mid week release won't do her any favours.

I suppose it may not hurt her chart performance too much - the fans have pre-ordered it and anyone else will probably not know about the song unless they've caught it on Capital, so hearing it at the BRITs may be their first time hearing. Although then there's the video to take into account. Ah well, I'm sure 'Living for Love' will sell better as a Wednesday release with a BRITs performance than it would as a Sunday release with no BRITs.
