I suppose it may not hurt her chart performance too much - the fans have pre-ordered it and anyone else will probably not know about the song unless they've caught it on Capital, so hearing it at the BRITs may be their first time hearing. Although then there's the video to take into account. Ah well, I'm sure 'Living for Love' will sell better as a Wednesday release with a BRITs performance than it would as a Sunday release with no BRITs.

 

I guess Wednesday's release might be wise as there are probably be a decent amount of fan pre-orders to push it up into the top 20/30 on iTunes - and it's visibility on iTunes immediately after the performance might be key. Hopefully the Grammys performance will give it some extra pre-orders and she'll do R1 chat and sing on one of the talk shows. I really want this to do substantially better than GMAYL.

They should just release it at the beginning of the week, but at least I can see some vague logic in this unlike the Giorgio/Kylie release.

 

The Brit awards thing is giving me a glimmer of hope for this, at this stage it's on course to do nothing without that.

Not a Madge classic by any means unfortunately. Some nice moments, particularly towards the end but not much else going on. She absolutely GLOWS when she smiles though! I've missed it :blush:

Finally found the video on that horrific app (bravo on premiering on a platform that will grant her a younger artist, but still... f*** you snapchat). I really enjoyed the video! It's definitely her best video since "Sorry".

 

The color scheme was brilliant, as was the concept. She wasn't overly edited, she looked fantastic. The choreography was spot on and it channeled the song well. The last minute really raised my opinion on it.
