December 14, 201410 yr But I don't really understand why they were adamant on Andrea being in the final. With Cher I could understand it with the will.i.am booking.
December 14, 201410 yr I was 100% behind Fleur to win but I think it could have worked out best for both of them. Fleur will get signed to Syco anyway and won't have the same kind of pressures and expectations on her that a winner does. It will also mean that she can either release something sooner or take more time in creating something great so there is more freedom there. I really liked Ben too but he is by no means as marketable as Fleur so having the record contract already in the bag may help him because it was less certain for him than her. Hopefully they can get him some decent material and he can have at least some levels of success. I am not sure they will manage to make him a success but at least he now has the opportunity to prove people wrong and give it a go, he seemed like a very nice guy and is talented so good luck to him.
December 14, 201410 yr Mel's boys were picked off as I suspected, top of the vote with Andrea and #3 with Paul and all 4 in the top 9 first week.
December 14, 201410 yr Andrea could have gone last week, mind you the outcome of the final wouldn't be any different. Lauren would have gone yesterday.
December 14, 201410 yr Simon seemed extremely supportive of Fleur that I have no doubt in my mind she will get a deal with 'Syco', it'll be a while of quietness before we hear anything from her again I guess, but I'm excited to see what she can do now.
December 14, 201410 yr Fleur will have her debut single ready for a performance on Britain's Got Talent next summer, followed by the second single and album in time for X Factor live shows.
December 14, 201410 yr Fleur's semi-final share is low when you consider she was only 4% above Lauren.
December 14, 201410 yr I wonder if Drumsound & Bassline Smith - One In A Million will get a re-release
December 14, 201410 yr Also anyone who thinks that going first and being picked to leave by the producers and butchered isn't effective, look at Paul top 5 every week and then dead last the week he went.
December 14, 201410 yr Lauren really was a lot mor popular than I expected! I remember the bookies being so certain she'd be in the sing-off during the too 5 and actually she was 0.01% away from escaping it (at the expense of Fleur :()!!
December 14, 201410 yr Where did you get that from? Dermot said there was 800 votes in it when he was about to announce it!
December 14, 201410 yr Where did you get that from? The voting stats online. Week 8, Ben first, Andrea 2nd and Fleur 0.1% off the bottom 2.
December 14, 201410 yr LAUREN WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FINAL IF THERE WAS NO STUPID BOTTOM 2 I am so so annoyed
December 14, 201410 yr And it was Fleur 800 votes off the bottom 2. So? I think the single will sell around 300k, probably not too much higher. Edited December 14, 201410 yr by NellyXmas. S
December 14, 201410 yr Interesting stats, glad Fleur seemed to grow into a solid second placer over time, interesting that even Uptown Funk couldn't secure her a vote topper even though it went to #1 on iTunes. Proves once again the VAST voting discrepancy between the bulk of voters and music buyers. Oops at Andrea being below Stevi Richie on vote 7 after starting off so well
December 14, 201410 yr The stats are just as boring as the rest of this year, Fleur nearly going in week 8 is about as exciting as it gets.
December 14, 201410 yr I also think Andrea only made the final because of Mel, the week him and Stevi were bottom I think she dug her heels in.
