Second single of the Femme Fatale era back in early 2011, this song got a great reception from fans and critics. It became one of Britney's biggest hits on the Hot 100, and is probably the most remembered song of this era worldwide. What are your thoughts on this song, the video, and it being a single?

I thought it was really generic and throwaway at first, but it grew on me and it's a total earworm. It's now a classic for me, but I always considered 'I Wanna Go' to be the shining gem of this era.

The video is alright, although it's one of many videos where Britney looks disinterested/dead behind the eyes. :(

it's utterly utterly fabuleux~

almost as good as tyler

I think this and 'Everytime' are my favourite two Britney singles!
Brilliant song and brilliant video. The vid is basically Slave 4 U Part 2.
video mad, song keesha leftover.

This track is better than 90% of Kesha's discography.

A true shining moment for the "Femme Fatale" era. This song was absolutely everywhere in 2011. Her peak in radio popularity was this era in the states. The production for this track is wonderful, and is Dr. Luke at his best.

I will be doing it for singles and then album tracks I feel people care about. Bitch has too many great songs :)

As for TTWE, it was Britney's comeback hit here in Portugal. I think the last time a Britney song had been played on the radio here was Everytime, so you can imagine my feeling when I first heard it blasting on our top 40 stations :D

It's a cute little song, but that similarity to Kesha sound irks me a lot.

Also here in Croatia this was her biggest solo hit since Toxic.

It really did seem to give her one of her biggest hits in a while in several countries. :o
Did the remix do well in Portugal and Croatia?

Bar the UK :nocheer:

Although I'd argue it's just as remembered (if not more) as 'Womanizer' is (which I believe to be her last "massive" hit here). Oh and obviously I still love this. I love the remix that was released too! "I ain't talking poultry when I say this chicken's FRIIIIIIIIIIIIED".

This along with "I Wanna Go", "Toxic" and "Womanizer" are still played all the time.

BOMT gets played every now and again on UK radio, but nothing else gets played.

Never heard it, only the original version. Because it was such a big hit IWG and even Criminal got some spins here, but nowhere near as much (S&S was huge though).

TTWE was definitely bigger than all the Britney, Blackout and Circus singles here. I'd put it on par with Toxic and Sometimes, but below BOMT, BTMYH and Oops, those are her holy trinity, they were too big and still get recurrent plays.
