70. I'm so glad you like this song Insomnio! Have you listened to the album? Almost everything is amazing (bar a few slow ballads)

69. It's so strange, her voice sounds very strong when you listen to her on radios but live she's not too good. Either way, she's multi-talented

68. Guts Over Fear was a bit of a slow-burner for me. I neither liked it a lot neither disliked it intently. I did like Eminem's rapping and Sia but I feel like the song is a 'tad' bit too long.

67. I'm glad you think so  She's vastly under-rated here I think.

66. Waves feels like such an airways' song or something you would hear in like Miami  Either way it's actually very pleasant to listen to when I'm depressed at being stuck in my house when it's raining.

65. I think this is very 2006 Hilary Duff so definitely not much of a growth as an artist but I think it's a very fun song <3

64. I think I prefer G.R.L than Pussycat dolls at the moment, just because they all actually get to sing :P They do have PCD aspects though.

63. I'm on-and-off with Calvin like I've said, Summer was extremely good when I heard it but after a while, UK radio completely obliterates the song and I just lose my interests. I really do hate it when that happens.

62. It's a nice lead-in to her album, I think as a whole her new album is very solid.

61. It's a big shame you don't like Jealous. I think that so many people step over this song and it's greatness only just reached me when I listened to it in the summer. Clearly a marmite song o the album for most people so I do understand why a lot of people dislike the song  Although some of the lyrics do make me go, what?

60. Who doesn't love a bit of Duke Dumont :music:

I haven't listened to her latest album yet. However, I liked all her singles. I believe that "XO" should be a smash hit in U.k..One of her best songs...

Miami is nothing in comparison with Greek islands..Just a cosmopolitan place with cocaine dealers and crocodiles..However, Mykonos is like a small Miami without crocodiles..:P Foxes visited Santorini last summer.

This is very important. I felt that Pussycatt Dolls were Nicole Scherzinger with five flower pots. I couldn't help but wonder if they could talk..I knew it when they released their solo singles.. :D

O LetGo4Tonight :nono: Drunk in Love and Tough Love TOO LOW!!!1 again don't make me have another meltdown

But YAY for 'Goddess' making an appearance in the album chart :cheer: What a wonderful album it is.

Plays SchoolKingQ's rap to make up for ha mess :music: B-)

Stop Spelling it WRONG!! I still never got the big deal with Drunk in love  , people love it but I just *kinda* liked it. I do actually apologize for Tough Love :( The album was flawless (and shall be making an appearance on the top 25 soon :magic) Please have another meltdown Bal it was so funny

Goddess is amazing  absolutely stunning but nothing can beat 'This is what it feels like' and 'Goddess' for me on the album :music: #JamCentral

Please don't, SchoolQBasil's v~lewd and distasteful and for that you get the face of shame: -___________- -_-

AM was a fantastic album and really returned them to form after the two previous subpar albums, really happy they returned in such a great way. Snap Out of It is my fave thing from this era :funky:

AM really hit me over a while and when it did I just fell in love with it, I do see where the hype has come from and I really must check out their older material! They've definitely come back with a bang (considering this album is such a success with fans and sales alike!) Oooh I forgot about Snap Out Of It, v~funky :funky:

XO would've smashed hard had it been released as a pre-album release single but I guess people just bought the album instead :/ Still, I loved the fact that she just released it in the middle of the week with no promotion or what-so-ever, very brave of her  There aren't a lot of commercial-like songs on there but they definitely grow on you a lot over time

NOT GIVING UP ON HERE!!!

:hi: Slayberry, you good? ^_^

Yay go Sats :yahoo: Glad you liked the song, it's personally one of my favorites from their album!

So at #59, we see potential-single 'Aaliyah' which surged up to #5 after a contestant performed the song on Patvian X Factor. I actually love Aaliyah, very catchy and one of my favorite songs off the album. I'm guessing the single release for this got cancelled which is a shame :( I don't like Alesso or his songs, but Heroes is amazing *_* Tove Lo sounds excellent :music: Now I know what you're thinking, Spectrum is so old though? How has it charted? Well each year we have a retro song of the year which happened to be 'Spectrum' this year (not retro but still old) so it managed to do very well, peakiong at #2 and spending a good 6 weeks here.

Pixie manages to get to #55 with her effort 'Nasty', which scraped a silver certification here. I have to admit, this became a guilty pleasure of mine after a few plays and so this can be seen with it's chart run too! Very solid! I'm on-and-off Avicii but I really enjoyed 'Addicted to you' and this can be seen, one of his better songs. One of the best new (kinda) artists this year manages to slay at #53 with 'Listen to the man'. Not his best song but considering he has two further gold certificated songs and a platinum album here in Patvia, he hasn't been any less than successful ^_^ Mine and Feelin' myself conclude th next batch of my EOY. I love Mine and it should really be a future single! I love Drake's voice, Beyonce's voice and everything in it, the chorus is so damn catchy and everything in the video is so interesting to watch

Edited by NellyXmas. S

Addicted To You  Will be making an appearance on my chart of course.

Nasty though?

Aaliyah is great too, though I associate it with 2012/13 more.

Aaliyah is a fantastic piece. Not something I would think to put in an EOY now but it's one of the best on Little Red easily.

Great to see AM in here too, that's kept moving up my 2013 album rank ever since the end of the year, some pretty lovely music.

'MINE' :yahoo:  glad i'm not the only one to love it so much!! No meltdown from me after that set :funky: love 'Aaliyah' too * . *

will.i.am.not and pixie nott though * _ *

:hi:

'Spectrum' and 'Aaliyah' are two real highlights for me over the past couple of years!

Is that the Northampton Clown at 55 tho?

Nasty is amazing, I don't get the hate for it as it is so catchy and great

But feelin myself :puke2: :puke2: Really Nelly

Nice to see someone else enjoying the track as much as I do ^_^

I was wondering what you're reacting to this charting would be like  I hated it at first but it did really grow on me and became my guilty pleasure over easter :kink:

Addicted To You  Will be making an appearance on my chart of course.

Nasty though?

Aaliyah is great too, though I associate it with 2012/13 more.

I'll be looking forward to seeing it chart in yours too Dan ^_^ Knowing the Avicii-loon you are it'll be very high

You don't like Nasty!? Mutiny 0_o. Buy Platinum Pixie on Amazon :cheer:

I only bought the album in easter so I'm kinda new to Aaliyah, I absolutely adore it  Katy B has really developed as an artist from her first era.

Aaliyah is a fantastic piece. Not something I would think to put in an EOY now but it's one of the best on Little Red easily.

Hiya Iz :hi: , you okay?

It was definitely the first track that I instantly fell in love with on 'Little Red', I mean the whole album is flawless but this is by far the standout whilst some of the others took a little longer for me to get into. Not a bad track on the album though ^_^ Jessie Ware sounds amazing! *_*

i never got the AM hype until I actually gave it some attention and yeah all the songs are very strong and lovely.

'MINE' :yahoo:  glad i'm not the only one to love it so much!! No meltdown from me after that set :funky: love 'Aaliyah' too * . *

will.i.am.not and pixie nott though * _ *

O hai Bal :hi: Stay funky :funky:

Mine is AMAZING! Drake really does make Mine what it is, I wouldn't have loved it so much if it hadn't been for him. Needs to be a single although I think it's too late now with the re-release and all :nocheer: Yay NO MELTDOWN :cheer:

I don't care for William (yes there should be no dots, it makes me OCD ) but this song was such a guilty pleasure for me :music: , it made me get my freak on :funky: Pixie Lott is amazing and not a flop at all :nono:

Oh and Buy Platinum Pixie at your local garage sale now ^_^

PS. *_* IS NOT THE SAME AS *.* !!!!!111

'Spectrum' and 'Aaliyah' are two real highlights for me over the past couple of years!

Is that the Northampton Clown at 55 tho?

Spectrum is so so good! Florence sounds really good on it! Aaliyah is the real uptown funk of early 2014 :funky:

O and the Northampton Clown says :hi: + thanks me for giving him a top 75 hit this year ^_^

Oh and he expects you to give him a #1 EOY hit this year or he'll come get you *_*

Hi Neil!

"Ouija" was not so bad.. :P

No.59 I listened to this song one year ago. I didn't like it so much. Of course, it's not bad but it sounds like a Katy B typical song. Next

No.58 I didn't know this song too. It's listenable. I guess that you have "Habit"s higher on your list..

No.57 "Spectrum" is one of her best songs. I like both versions (original and remix).

No.56 I didn't know this song too. It's just a noice with Ellie's vocals. If I listened it to a club, I would have a different opinion. However, it's not something that I would listen to it at my home.

No.55 It's a decent cover but she screams a lot. It could be a nice performance if she didn't oversing it.

No.54 It's one my least favourite singles of "True".

No.53 I hadn't heard this song. I know that it's popular in U.k based on the comments in this forum but I didn't search it on youtube. I just listened to it because you have it on your list. It reminds me of old country songs. Nice production.

No.52 It's quite catchy and I really like Miley's part but I don't like her attitude. She totally changed her image and she used to be beautiful.

No.51 I listened to this song when she released her album but I totally forgot it. I didn't know that Beyo released a video for this track though. It's quite good and the videoclip looks artistic..I just pushed the like button under her video. :) . Thanks for this.

Feelin' Myself and Addicted To You will probably be in or near the top 60 for me too! :D

:hi: Insomnio. Ouija was not good at all! Don't succumb to it Insomnio  It was all very predictable and not too scary. Annabelle was good though!

59. Really? Ouch! I really liked this song! Jessie Ware sounds incredible.

58. A future hit I reckon ^_^ It's doing incredibly well on pre-orders so I'd definitely like Tove to get another top 20 hit with this <3 Actually Habits (the remix) finished #147 on my charts  , the actual version is MUCH better!

57. Spectrum is such a feel-good anthem

56. I think this song really does depend on your take on dance music. It's definitely not commercial in any way shap or form but it's incredible when you actually like that sort of thing

55. One of my guilty pleasures this year easily :kink: I think it needs to be sang like that but it doesn't work well with Pixie :/

54. Yikes! One of my favorites but that's saying something considering I hate Avicii as an artist

53. George Ezra is my favorite male artist at the moment :music: Yeah his music is very country but his voice makes him really distinct

52. I hate her image :puke: I don't get why she did it other than for popularity... :/

51. The video is very artistic! Quite weird when you first watch it though I have to admit :P She's made a video for EVERY track on her album which is what' really gotten me into it :music: Never fails to impress me.

Feelin' Myself and Addicted To You will probably be in or near the top 60 for me too! :D

Hiya Riser :hi:

Good to hear ^_^ I will be scannning your chart closely

18. Paloma Faith: A Perfect Contradiction - 682,473 Units | :gold:

Peak: #5

First Week Sales: 106,382

Coming at #19 is Jessie Ware's debut Devotion which I didn't really get the chance to listen to until this year. I loved it! And clearly so did Patvia as it raked in one of the biggest first-week sales of all-time. Every album track was beautiful including the highly acclaimed 'Wildest Moments'. I find her voice so sultry and I definitely think her art is in her subtly. Paloma Faith's A Perfect Contradiction really surprised me as I really didn't think the album would be that strong judging by the previews, nevertheless I was proved wrong once again and found that each track progressed from another quite smoothly and the highlights must be 'Only Love Can Hurt Like This' and 'Trouble With My Baby'. Managing to get her first top 5, Paloma managed to dhift a huge 682,000 units by the end of the year which is stellar!

Edited by NellyXmas. S

Devotion is a very good album and a perfect condition is absolutely stunning and definitely one of my favourite albums this year, this will have absolutely gigantic sales in my EOY album chart

A Perfect Contradiction  Another fantastic album from Paloma, she's soooo good

Amazing chart so far Nelly!

Wasn't a big fan of 'Tough Love' :snif: nice album but left me with no desire to return to it. Maybe i should return to it though and see if it grows.

Haven't heard Paloma's album but the singles have been fab so again maybe i should check ha out :o

#50-48

50. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51fJ00XcWGL._SS280.jpg

Hideaway – 268,250 Units (07-08-10-19-20-OUT) (5 week) :silver:

Peak: #7

First-week sales: 79,815

I have to admit, Hideaway sounded absolutely vulgar when I first heard it :puke: But then when I started hearing it on the radio, it gradually grew on me before I began to chart it. It's one of the most catchiest songs this year, shame she couldn't follow the success up with her next single 'Giant in my Heart' but I guess it's not as appealing to the GP as this was. It was a minor hit here in Patvia, peaking at #7 and dropping out of the charts after only 5 weeks. Nevertheless, it accumulated a grand total after trickle-sales during the course of the year, taking in 100k whilst being out of the charts! WD Kiesza :cheer:

49. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51bx-ZJrbvL._SS280.jpg

Yours – 270,429 Units (20-21-10-11-10-09-10-10-14-17-) (10 weeks) :silver:

Peak: #9

Peak-Week Sales: 40,281 Units

I loved yours ever since I heard it on the album and judging by everyone else's un-excitement at it being a single, it seems I am the only one :nocheer: . The song managed to go top 10 on my chart FOUR weeks before it was even announced as a single and by the time it started charting in the UK, it had already spent 5 weeks in the outskirts of the top 10! I generally think it's a beautiful ballad

48. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51kfYr8GHsL._SS280.jpg

Bang Bang – 273,281 Units (03-02-05-17-16-18-19-12-08-OUT) (9 weeks) :silver:

Peak: #2

First-Week Sales: 74,494 Units

So at #48 we have Bang Bang by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Ninja. I actually really loved this song when I first heard it and thought it was quite catchy, DESPITE it being a Jessie J song :puke: . What really got me to love it was Nicki's iconic rap-verse, it really did make the song what it was  Bang Bang missed out on a #1 on my chart due to Changing by only a couple of units. Ouch! But it still managed to go silver :magic:
