The clip sounds good, albeit very tame and a little too calculated to quality for song of the year. We shall see.

oh pls! what pop song isn't calculated? that is what pop is all about. isn't jess glynne calculated for releasing a rehash of 'real love'? you wax lyrical about that tho and its carefree nature!

Fair point re the Glynnester, but this song and campaign have clearly been very carefully tailored to recapture the vibe and repeat the success of Call Me Maybe, with some Red era Taylor thrown in for good measure, and it's not exactly common for that to come off. As I said, I'll keep an open mind.

Omg took the words right oot me mouth!!

It'sveeeery contrived and calculated, almost lab-engineered to be a CMM clone. Oeople are gonna see reet through it. I'll wait for the hq full version but so far it sounds like a carbon copy of CMM and Sweet Talk and we all know the latter flopped.

This is out there! I need to find it now! :w00t:
It's fabulous of course! Hopefully a big hit this spring/summer  So catchy!
I love it! Deserves to be huge!
Really rather catchy, nothing out of this world, but I can tell I'll wanna go back to it again and again.
I need this on my computer, so if anyone can help me with that I will promise to really like you.

She's embarassingly cringy and cutesy for a 29 year old and those chorus lyrics of "I really really really really really really really like you, do you want me, cos I want you" are just... something else on the cringe scale.

That said, the song is incredibly catchy and I almost definitely will be listening to it lots.

Ok it only took one play, I'm taking back what I said. This is amazing. Simply a flawlessly crafted pop song.

That's the beauty of it I think, it's just pure pop, not enough of this in the charts right now. Loving it right now.

It's a very strong pop song! I really hope it does well for her because she's cute, despite her age, and at least she tries.

Doesn't quite have the magic of Call Me Maybe and I don't think it'll come anywhere close to that level of popularity, but it's cute.

EDIT: Unless the video is out of this world, then maybe it could..

She really is the definition of basic bitch isn't she? Really don't like the Jepsen 'brand' in it's sheer blandness.

Having said that, this is kind of undeniable. It sounds as though it could fit well into Taylor's '1989' and seeing as I love that I would be being hypocritical to not accept this as a bloody good pop song.

This is literally the epitome of 1989 with the maturity of Call Me Maybe. Of course it is brilliant.

You can REALLY hear the calculation I agree, but it's so meticulously put together that it's just wondrously flawless  Reminds me of Call Me Maybe mixed with a bit of Taylor's New Romantics.
Okay. So I just listened to this 15 times in a row. Feeling really, really, really, really, really, really guilty but it is too f***ing good.
