December 22, 201410 yr A few more weeks top 10 I'd say (I like Ben and the song, and streaming wise it seems to be doing rather well), but 'Uptown Funk', as I've already said elsewhere is gonna be to this year coming what 'Happy' was to 2014 (i.e virtually unavoidable). December 22, 201410 yr By the way, I was in two branches of Sainsburys on Saturday (envy my crazy glamorous life you suckers!) and I didn't notice any Ben Haenow CDs in either of them. Lots of Peace Collective and Band Aid 30 ones though.
December 22, 201410 yr No chance of it making #1 next week, Uptown Funk's selling HUGE numbers and has ridiculous amounts of sales coming from streaming too, Ben's physicals won't come even close to making up the iTunes gap and THEN streaming.
December 23, 201410 yr Nope. Mark Ronson was outselling him on Saturday - he will be comfortably number 2 though.
December 23, 201410 yr Things looks promising for Ben though. Now up to #15 on Spotify, so streaming and physical sales should help with the second week drop. I'm hopeful that it can spend a few weeks in the T10 in any case, there is nothing worse than seeing something fall 1-2-12 (i.e. Band Aid 30).

Lots of Peace Collective and Band Aid 30 ones though. Learned their lesson then... I worked for Sainsburys in the past, and they always always ordered far too many copies of the X Factor single. I left in late 2012 and at that point they still had a small pile of the Leon Jackson one priced at 1p each that they had yet to shift!

Two months ago I was in Prague in the Czech Republic, and there's a music shop in the city centre that's still trying to sell off CD singles of Helping Haiti!
