Daniel Bedingfield is credited as a songwriter though! (Not sure why as I thought all the lyrics were taken from a Toni Braxton song but there you go).

Thanks!! This list looks really good. No American stars, thank God. :D

He seems to have shaken off the One True Voice flop tag

I think this has been shaken off naturally by now, there are surely not many people now who even remember One True Voice being a thing.

The Vamps version of Jingle Bells was like Mumford and Sons lol

I'm finally watching the programme now and this is definitely a WTF moment

Well that was all very underwhelming. No wonder Ben Haenow didn't show up

It was recorded before he won.

I thought the programme was fairly good. I expected to skip most of it but ended up skipping very little.

I didn't know that thanks. Although my original comment was tongue in cheek :) Did they change the schedule of recording or something? I seem to remember other winners performing.

It all just seemed a bit flat to me.

It's generally been recorded before the X Factor final although there may have been one or more exceptions. Note how the introduction was "Here's the Christmas number one" with no mention of a name.

Yeah I did notice that but I thought they were being snotty! Thanks for the info.

They've definitely had X Factor winners on there before - Leona did it back in 2006, presumably in recent years Cowell doesn't see it as worth bothering with. Maybe he's just still annoyed that they wouldn't let him buy the rights to the show.

I know lol I thought it was rather surprising in a good way!

So far, all I like is Jess Glynne, I've had enough of Ed Sheeran for a year.

Tori Kelly getting that TOTP slot *.* I don't think I'd ever even seen what she looked like before now.

I'd have preferred to see Jess Glynne perform My Love with Route 94 than hear the underwhelming Right Here but oh well. A good ginger start to the show anyway with her and Ed, we're slowly taking over

 yay for us gingers :heehee:

Lullaby  Tori sounds absolutely stunning, 2015 needs to be her year.

First time I've seen Tori in the flesh, great voice.

Pro Green's crap adlibbing along to the chorus giving me Bjorn Ranelid flashback nightmares :drama:

(Sorry, any excuse is good enough to whip out the hottest mess of the decade to date)

 yay for us gingers :heehee:

Ruling  Not forgetting Kiesza although she's clearly a fake ginge.

Edit: and La Roux...

La Roux seems to be the oddest performer on this show this year, she hardly did anything in 2014, a apart from a new album which lasted 2 to 3 weeks in the album chart.
