Although Band Aid was the only song about Xmas to appear, this was the Christmas #1. Shocking no-one the X Factor succeeded in getting the accolade yet again. I have to confess this would only be the second season (after the one Leon Jackson won) that I didn't watch as it looked boring to me to begin with, the song itself is OK and I'm not sure why it was bottom both weeks. As for Ben himself he seems to have a decent yet unremarkable voice, but time will be seen if he can avoid fading away like oh so many winners do.

Ah boo to you, this is my favourite Sam Smith song of the year, I don't know why exactly it garnered that much hate, but it was one of the few songs that I didn't get bored of this year. Sam still has "I'm Not The Only One" & "Like I Can" left to duke it out.

Surprised to see MOMM that low. Nothing remarkable I agree but at least it's not depressing like much of his discography.

 

Like I Can to be his highest entry please!

An underwhelming entry from Maroon 5, only their #5 YE smash in 2011 "Moves Like Jagger" seems popular with Reshuffle voters, although I feel that this songs has potential it falls short of being memorable.

I can see how the chorus to Money On My Mind might be grating for some people! I quite like it though and production is spot on.

 

Rap does have a few fans I think, but on the whole its probably hated. The two most hated artists on this site are rappers; 50 Cent & Akon :lol:

A decent rap track. I don't like to downvote tracks which I am not keen on. It might be OCD but if I don't like a genre in general I don't feel like I should judge on it :unsure:

Chris Brown makes some unarguable tunes; in particular Loyal!

At #132, It's Take That's 12th OCC#1, eleven years after their first, and TBH one I didn't expect them to get again. Now a trio, they released "These Days" a lightweight yet somewhat fun pop song. I don't mind the song but it's not one I go out of my way to own.
