Escu me, the points chart countdown has run very smoothly this year thank you very much ~

Yeah, it has to be fair. Been a busy work week for me is all, it'll be finished before Feb though.

115. FUSE ODG - MILLION POUND GIRL (BADDER THAN BAD) (-74 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 3
OCC PEAK: 5 (1wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 8
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 5
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 8
POSITIVE VOTES: 30
NEGATIVE VOTES: 54
RUN:9-6-8
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -24.6667

Fuse ODG's second of three entries here, and time will tell if "T.I.N.A" can make the T100, this is probably my least favourite of his three entries in this chart, not really due to not liking it, more of being uninterested with it. He's already beaten the placing of "Antenna" in 2013 which came 123rd, and although T.I.N.A finishes higher MPG at least managed to avoid the #10 spot in its three weeks.

54 people thought it was Badder than Bad and took it literally. FAIL

It's isn't bad at all. Why all the Fuse hate here?

114. DJ FRESH VS. TC FT. LITTLE NIKKI - MAKE U BOUNCE (-72 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 1
OCC PEAK: 10 (1wk)

DJ Fresh leaves the chart now, with this forgettable #10 hit both in Reshuffle and on the OCC. I completly forgot how this went until today, and while the song's not dreadful it has a long way to go towards being as good as "Louder" or "Hot Right Now".

I can't get enough of this track

FYI 28 people can't bounce :drama:

It doesn't mean 28 people hate the song. I can remember when I voted I also gave some songs negative points although I totally loved them because there were always 5 better ones :(

At 113# the Flo Rida interpretation of "Feeling Good" that nobody asked for, it's Flo Rida's only entry on this chart this year, although I don't hate all of his discography ("The Wild Ones", "Low" and "I Cry" being highlights for me), I'm not to upset about his lack of chart involvement in 2014 if this track is anything to go by.

112. LABRINTH - JEALOUS (-71 POINTS)

AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 10
POSITIVE VOTES: 6
NEGATIVE VOTES: 23

Labrinth also dropping out with his only T10 hit of the year. Labrinth went back to a slower "Beneath Your Beautiful"-type song with a country insipired single, the song plods on too much a isn't exactly on the more fun entries of the year. It is another song which probably had potential to be more beautiful than it ended up being. "Jealous" finishes higher than "How I Feel" as it received two "+3"s compared to HIF's one.

No but could've been a lot higher ^_^

How I Feel was rather a dissapointment to his earlier hits like Good Feeling, Wild Ones and Let It Roll  but that's just how I feel :teresa:

Jealous. It makes Thinking Out Loud have a reason to be #1

OWNED

Million Pound Girl is amazing :o I like the video too, despite how cheap looking it is

Make U Bounce is decent, especially the last 30 seconds or so. I admire how innovate DJ Fresh is really, rarely makes a dull track. You could argue 'Gravity' is quite formulaic, but DJ Fresh arguably popularised radio-friendly drum & bass!

111. AVICII - HEY BROTHER (-71 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 6 (in 2014)
OCC PEAK: 3 (3wks) in 2014
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 6
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 10
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 15
POSITIVE VOTES: 82
NEGATIVE VOTES: 95
RUN: 3-5-4-7-8-9
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -11.8333

It came 33rd in 2013, but can only manage 111th in 2014, but as you can imagine people were starting to get tired of it later into its chart run. It left the game with an overall score of 7 points. Listening to the song after a break of a good few months today, and it started to sound good again. Hey Brother finishes higher than "Jealous" as it recieved ten "+5"s compared to Jealous' none.

110. RIK MAYALL - NOBLE ENGLAND (-70 POINTS)

NEGATIVE VOTES: 25

Rik Mayall one of Britain's most iconic and beloved comedians died at the age of 56 in June 2014. This also happened to coincide with the World Cup so Mayall's ode of English support attracted sales and ended in the top 10. Probably not Buzzjack's cup of tea, with it's spoken word and football chant influences. Still nice to see the level of impact the man had in the UK.

109. DAVID GUETTA FT. SAM MARTIN - LOVERS ON THE SUN (-67 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 3
OCC PEAK: 1 (1wk)

AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 5
POSITIVE VOTES: 35
NEGATIVE VOTES: 59
RUN: 7-8-7
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -22.3333

This is David Guetta's middle entry in this list leaving his other Sam Martin collaboration "Dangerous" to come. This OCC #1 seemed to divide opinions but apart from "Shot Me Down" I enjoyed Guetta's output this year, LOTS has a great chorus but the verses do lack strength.

108. MICHAEL JACKSON FT. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - LOVE NEVER FELT SO GOOD (-64 POINTS)

AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 7

Jacko, still having hits in the afterlife. "Love Never Felt So Good" is a great song which although recorded in 1983, still sounded good on 2014 contemporary radio. The song however does not stand up with Jackson's greatest, but then again such few songs do.

107. THE VAMPS - LAST NIGHT (-62 POINTS)

AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 6
POSITIVE VOTES: 11

The first of The Vamps' four T10s fall out now. As I said before in this countdown, the boyband singles in 2014 were pleasantly surprising to me, and although there were better this year, I did like this song as well, whilst I would just categorise say "Can We Dance" as a genuinely good song this I would describe as more of a guilty pleasure, as it is quite generic but I do like it.

Another song I forgot the melody completely before my listen again today. When I first heard about this song, I was expecting something more like "Climax" which was glorious. This song just doesn't sit well with me, which is a shame as I normally enjoy Usher's songs. It was saved a bottom score by "All Of Me" and "Wiggle".

Leave Hey Brother alone I know Avicii is illuminati but no reason to vote -5s for it JEEZ :drama:

105. CALVIN HARRIS - SUMMER (-60 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 5
OCC PEAK: 1 (1wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 9
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 10
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 20
POSITIVE VOTES: 94
NEGATIVE VOTES: 91
RUN: 8
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -12

As we close into the T100, who'd have thought this chart topper would have fallen so soon? Calvin usually gets more love on Buzzjack but he still has "Blame" and "Outside" left, maybe people thought this was Harris on auto-pilot, I know I sure did but I don't unanimously love his material in the first place and I don't see what's special about "Summer". It did however get more positive votes than negatives, the first song to do it on this countdown. However most of it's positive votes were for "+2" rather than the more spreaded out minus scores. Summer finishes higher than "Good Kisser" as it recieved ten "+5"s compared to GK's none.
