This further proves my ongoing theory that Simon Cowell should only concentrate on groups. He has no idea how to carve a decent career for solo artists.

I'm not surprised really. They never even tried to push a second single. And at the end of her contract they never made one good/passable video for her.

The album didn't sell THAT badly did it? I thought it went Gold even though I know it only peaked at No.14.

I really hope she can sign with a new label. I think she has the character and ability to come back strong and have a hit again. But only it she releases by Spring 2018 at the latest!

Is she still signed with Columbia?

She's said she is bringing out new music this year that is more modern-sounding and less throwback, she is also bringing out some fitness equipment later this year

It might be an idea for her to collab with Clean Bandit or basically anyone that has some name power to get her own name back out there. Sax was a huge hit but wayyy too long ago for anyone to care

Clean Bandit are way too big to do a single with her. She'd have to settle for a flop single with some little known dance act at this stage I think seeing as she's dropped and is completely forgotten about.

I really hope she does come back. But for it to work out I think she would need backing from a big label and a really quality single.

She is a great performer and I love her energy but the odds are against her I guess.

Pretty girl, energetic, not a great singer, she was always going to be time-limited. I feel a bit sorry for her as I'm sure Cowell blew a lot of hot air into her when she obviously was intended to win her XF series, but on the other hand she doesn't seem to be bringing much to the table herself that's unique to her or that no other act has.

I feel like she's a vivacious performer who is ticks most of the right boxes, not the world's best singer but is still strong enough to own her songs and deliver some sassiness and on top of that is likeable... but I always thought it was obvious she'd be a one hit wonder, as much as she didn't deserve to be.
