It's odd how your opinions can change. I used to be have a really negative view on age gap relationships. I thought that they tended to be made up of dirty old men paired up with gold diggers. I thought that was the only way an age gap relationship would work, as people of different ages are often at different stages in their life and have different points of reference. But I'm 21 and am now seeing a 34 year old. I'm surprised that so far it's gone a lot better than some of my recent relationships with girls my own age. However, the woman I'm seeing at the moment doesn't have any kids. Like Ozzy says I think it would be very difficult if she had a kid that wasn't much younger than me.

I get what you are saying about the older generation being the stumbling block. There are all these "arranged marriages" that are a part of a different culture to what we have here. The person who they arrange the marriage for is "westernised" in their ideas and don't care for the old culture that the older generation is trying to maintain. :) Just an example.

lol.. we will not be getting married, we are together atm and are both very happy to be as such... however we are both aware that this isnt a 'forever' thing...

 

i dont want any more kids... clare eventualy wants a husband and kids.. we know it is a relationship that isnt going to last forever... but what does? we are enjoying it for as long as we are happy together, knowing full well that within a few years it will end...hopefully with many happy memories.. :)

the age difference, realistically we both require different things form a long term relationship. i dont want the responsability of kids, im too old to be arsed! lol. plus the financial implications... then when clares in her prime, ill be a dribbly old pensioner... sitting in a puddle of p***.... pmsl. marriage should be taken seriously, so the serious consideration means that long term, im not hubby material.

 

however, we are so 'luvved up' atm that theres no reason that we shouldnt enjoy our relationship for a while. :)

I can't seem to get onto MM site. Everytime I go on it, it says "Internet explorer has encounted as error problem and the page will be closed" I don't know what to do :cry: I miss that site!!!!!!!!!!!! Haven't been on it in weeks.

we havnt been on in months, all the older posters left and it became too teenified for us, which is fair enough, it is caz's site for her friends.

I like posting on there as everyone is so nice.
