Win Again's saving grace is that she completely scalps Iffy Azuzu. "Shanghai" is amazing and it's a shame it didn't make the main album.

Surprised 'Shanghai' is so low, thought it seemed very popular. Lots of people I have seen seem to be claiming it as one of their favourites.

I like it but isn't one of my favs.

15. Want Some More - 7.74

I'm in this bitch, i'm getting MONEY

The production in 'Want Some More' is fun but little known rapper, Parker Ighile's return (after previously featuring on 'Hell Yeah') does get quite annoying. I'm drawn in with her crazy high/drawn out vocals to end every line, especially the "i'm throwing shade like it's SUNNY" one *_*. A song about her accomplishments as an artist, citing Eminem, Kanye and Lil Wayne as proof of this. It only took me until this listen to realise that it samples 'Dilemma' slightly with those Kelly Rowland "oh"s :o (i am quite slow with these things, apologies~)

'I'm throwing shade like it's sunnyyy' is my favourite so glad you brought that up Bal! I agree the delivery of her lines makes the song.
14. Only - 7.88

Nothing but bad bitches in here tonight

And the first SINGLE bows out. Unsurprisingly it is 'Only' but surprisingly for me, it is THIS LOW :o what went wrong*!? 'Only' is far from her best single but it's certainly in the top half of the album. A brooding Urban number (with a video to match) that perhaps doesn't have the magic or singalong features of her usual singles. Still a hugely all-star cast and fascinating lyrics/beat/chorus wasn't enough to save this pretty disastrous result. A brave single for her in this current day, and yet quite indicative of the sound she has come from and feels most relaxed in. This result though? For shame ~

*Joseph did

Very surprised to see "Only" finishing so low! :o

Apologies, yesterday was really hectic!

13. Truffle Butter (feat. Drake & Lil Wayne) - 8.06

I'm still the highest sellin' female rapper, for the record

Out of all of the songs on the album this is the one I know the least about really so sorry if this commentary is a bit naff. Apparently this is the better Nicki/Drake/Wayne collab according to you guys, I definitely prefer Only though. Just like Only, all of the artists on this song all pull out fantastic verses with clever wordplay but I suppose this song has wider appeal than Only. This seems to have made it's way onto the Radio 1 Xtra playlist recently too so I wonder if that means it's getting a push, odd decision if so. Also, apparently this song samples some other well known song but I've never heard of it.

12. Buy a Heart (feat. Meek Mill) - 8.18

I could tell you was analyzing me, I could tell you was criticizing me
I could tell you was fantasizing that you would come slide in me and confide in me

This song is pretty damn gorgeous and really should be higher. This samples Henry Krinkle's Stay which is pretty *-* worthy because a) it was a BJSC hit b) it was only a minor UK hit c) I wouldn't have thought Nicki (or anyone on her team) had a clue who Henry Krinkle was but the sample works so well and works as perfect background music for Nicki and Meek to do their business all over the track. I think the sample deifnitely elevates the song and makes it more gorgeous because the original Stay is gorgeous too. Ok, so enough about Henry Krinkle and more about Nicki. The 'anybody, anybody, anybody wanna buy a heart' lines are pretty fab and would be the highlight if it wasn't for Nicki SLAYING her verse with the fast paced lines indicated at the top of this post and the lines after that as well but I wouldn't want to crowd the post, those lines are fkn amazing and I NEVER fail to sing along.

Edited by Josh.

Just refreshed my mind on these 3~ 'Mona Lisa' is nice... but it's very unforgettable and ultimately just a waste of a track. 'Big Daddy' is v *__* while 'Put You In A Room' is just plain bad.

I don't know why Nicki always thinks that the more the better in her albums - she could get rid of filler like these 3 and have such stronger albums but she always edges close to 20 tracks, at least 5 of which are always so bad  damn quality over quantity please !!

I agree. Shame on y'all for putting this last when shit like Feelin' Myself exists -_-

'Buy A Heart' is brilliant - would like it to be a single eventually. I know we're getting into the better half now but that deserved top 10 at the very least

The Henry Krinkle sample is very inspired and used so well as you say.

Adore 'Truffle Butter', in my top 5 for sure. Love 'Only' too – both should've been much higher!
11. Bed of Lies ft. Skylar Grey - 8.47

There was just a blank stare and I couldn't relate

Lovers: 10 - April
Haters: 7 - Cremey, Neil

The averages are getting a fair bit higher now, and this song in particular received very little "hate" with 7 being its lowest score. Featuring Skylar Grey (i still have no idea who she actually is) and was first revealed at the MTV VMAs. A confident yet vulnerable side to Nicki, it was a drastic shift of tone from 'Anaconda'. The song deserves particular mention, because as it charted on the Billboard Hot 100, it shot Nicki up to 3rd place in the female artists with most songs to enter the top 100, tying with Madonna and Dionne Warwick. A huge accomplishment, and a beautiful way to go about achieving it. A power piano ballad, led along with Skylar's lovely vocals, Nicki's rap compliments it wonderfully and it's a bit of a shame it (just) missed the top 10.

Reminds me of Fly a lot but it does lack that same fire, lovely track though and both pieces complement each other well as you mentioned!
That's surprising to see "Bed of Lies" so low!
