Very lame..... Sony should no better... especially when streaming counts for so much..... this week they need to release a remixes EP and also use the song as a free grat with a pre-order of his album.... but doubt either is going to happen....

Most people will just pre-order the album, so the sales wont count for the song.

Judging by the video standard, I'm not surprised no amount of promotion has gone into pushing the single. I dislike the frequent flashing and splitting of dance Kylie.

The video has got a lot of publicity from Vevo which is good.

 

the song has moved up from 59 to 50 on Uk ITunes today so theres hope if it can continue to creep up that a top 75 chart placing.... though is it being streamed yet etc? not good with streaming knowledge...!!!!

I quite like the Mr Moutache remix too, a bit more moroder/daft punk and less kylie, but still quite funky.

Why do I feel this still has a chance to be a hit? Do you think they are deliberately holding back promo to build up week on week streaming levels and then release a remix EP etc and do some promo? ever the eternal optimist.. its getting a lot of coverage on-line etc everyone says they love it.. yet not many sales.... dropped to 64th in UK.... surely Radio 2 will playlist it this week?

I get what you're saying as it does have potential. Streaming seems to be picking up a little. It does need some RadioPlay though & Remixes sent out to the clubs ASAP

The video has 300k of hits already... twitter is loving it, no one dislikes it or video.... I guess its not being advertised as a kylie song so its all Giorgio .... but remember they only released it early because it leeked and they wanted to capture sales....

 

streaming of a new song can take a few weeks to gather pace.... are we going to see it playlisted anywhere? anyone seen the video on TV?

I feel like this could be a hit as it's enough of a Kylie-esque song for the fans to buy yet "cool" enough for younger audiences to want, but there's no way it will be unless it is put in the public eye and I can't see that happening really.

Wow! #74 in Sales Chart converted to #154 overall Singles Chart with streaming added.

That's a huge difference, streaming must've been minimal last week.

I see it isn't featured in UK Spotify Weekly Top 200, but, on a brighter note it's at

#120 in UK Daily Spotify Chart

So, at least it's making inroads in the streaming front.

It's a real shame Radio hasn't kicked in. Bar the 2 plays Radio 2 gave it following it's launch & 1 play by MFR FM (dunno who they are), the only station that's been playing it are 'Heat Radio' - they seem to be giving it a single spin most days.

I think they will release an remixes EP next week or the week after ... try and hit when streaming is at a high.... which his usually 2-3 weeks after release... maybe they will get radio play too..... streaming counts for a good % of the chart now..... 18,000+ streams in UK yesterday.... that's a good debut........ needs to get on people's spotify playlists....

You're not looking hard enough then :P I've seen a lot of people disliking the song and video.

If pushed properly and if they release the remixes it could make an official chart entry but i would not be confident this will happen.

I like that it drops in ITunes went down to 104 but rebounded up to 88th again... shows it is getting a few sales when it is being heard. Radio play or lack of it is really hurting this, that's why I have a feeling they are holding radio play back? surely local radio stations would play it if it had been pushed
