May 17, 201510 yr I love A Million Voices :( But Russia simply cannot win, imagine the sheer amount of fans WW who'd have to miss the contest just because of the country it's hosted in. It's a very hypocrtical message from a country like Russia. Obviously that isn't Polina's fault, she could be the most tolerant person ever with tonnes of gay friends and family, but people aren't easily going to let Russia win I'd imagine.
May 17, 201510 yr I'm gonna be honest, I would be quite happy if Russia won. That would mean I could see it all live again next year :kink:
May 17, 201510 yr Spain - Eurovision 2015 is the most popular bet on Oddschecker right now! :o REALLY??? OMG!! I'm so excited about Edurne! She's amazing!
May 17, 201510 yr Author So after everyone has completed their two rehearsals (one rehearsal for the finalists), time for an update that includes many changes! Here are who seem to have had the biggest changes both good and bad compared to what their overall situation was last week: Biggest Climbers: France · Georgia · Cyprus · Latvia Largest Fallers: Serbia · United Kingdom · The Netherlands · Belarus As always, these are the best odds available according to Oddschecker with tied countries ordered by their support on Betfair Exchange. Countries that are moving up the odds position-wise (not necessarily odds-wise) compared to the last update on here are coloured in green, those moving down are in red and those who haven't moved are in black. 01 | 002/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Sweden.png Sweden · Måns Zelmerlöw - Heroes 02 | 003/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Italy.png Italy · Il Volo - Grande Amore 03 | 007/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/au.png Australia · Guy Sebastian - Tonight Again 04 | 012/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Estonia.png Estonia · Elina Born & Stig Rästa - Goodbye To Yesterday 05 | 012/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Russia.png Russia · Polina Gagarina - A Million Voices 06 | 020/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Finland.png Finland · Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät - Aina Mun Pitää 07 | 040/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Azerbaijan.png Azerbaijan · Elnur Huseynov - Hour Of The Wolf 08 | 040/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Slovenia.png Slovenia · Maraaya - Here For You 09 | 040/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Norway.png Norway · Mørland & Debrah Scarlett - A Monster Like Me 10 | 050/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Iceland.png Iceland · Maria Olafs - Unbroken 11 | 066/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Latvia.png Latvia · Aminata - Love Injected 12 | 066/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Belgium.png Belgium · Loïc Nottet - Rhythm Inside 13 | 080/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Cyprus.png Cyprus · John Karayiannis - One Thing I Should Have Done 14 | 080/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Spain.png Spain · Edurne - Amanecer 15 | 100/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/France.png France · Lisa Angell - N'oubliez Pas 16 | 100/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Georgia.png Georgia · Nina Sublatti - Warrior 17 | 100/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/United_Kingdom.png United Kingdom · Electro Velvet - Still In Love With You 18 | 100/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Albania.png Albania · Elhaida Dani - I'm Alive 19 | 100/1 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Israel.png Israel · Nadav Guedj - Golden Boy Above 100/1... 125/1 20 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Armenia.png Armenia · 21 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Greece.png Greece 150/1 22 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Belarus.png Belarus · 23 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Austria.png Austria · 24 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Hungary.png Hungary · 25 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Lithuania.png Lithuania · 26 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Romania.png Romania 175/1 27 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Poland.png Poland 200/1 28 | http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/FYR_Macedonia.png F.Y.R. May 18, 201510 yr Author Well 100/1 is like the UK's longest ever odds along with Josh so it's pretty bad! It's just because the bookmakers are mostly UK-based.
May 18, 201510 yr Yeah, British people have this weird "you never know, we might win!" complex that means all their entries get massively inflated odds in comparison to every other country (see also: football, everything ever). Molly being one of the favourites last year for example would have translated to pretty much where Electro Velvet are this year.
May 18, 201510 yr Sending people with Down syndrome to Eurovision gets you publicity. More exposure = more chances of people voting for you regardless of whether the song is good or not. UK charity singles work the same way really.
May 18, 201510 yr Well also a good amount of that money was from when people thought they were going to send Satin Circus. Oh what could have been :(
May 18, 201510 yr Surely all bets made in like JANUARY don't really matter that much in May, a few days before the event.
May 18, 201510 yr Surely all bets made in like JANUARY don't really matter that much in May, a few days before the event. Not much gets bet at all outside of the hardcore fans/professional gamblers until the semis start so yes they do (admittedly I don't think it'd have a huge influence but it'd still be there - people were touting Crossroads as a potential winner).
May 18, 201510 yr Author No I can't see it being down to Satin Circus either for all we know the initial hype could've been due to PKN too as they were pretty clear favourites for UMK, I'll still be shocked if Finland don't finish top 10.
