I'm kinda glad they put the EP/Unreleased tracks on the deluxe, they were too good to be discarded.

They'll be very appreciative... almost like JLO would be of that picture you have of her on your wall ;)

I had an email this morning saying I've won the competition to attend secret gig & meet/greet with Lawson. Not sure if I can go though but email said the gigs on 6th June in London which must be wrong. One week till the album anyway!!

Used To Be Us tho, omfg

The deluxe edition is super pretty *.* although Ryan's picture was the first to greet me when I opened it :drama:

Only Water is easily their best ballad ever, such a stunning track. When I'm Old is so infectious. Used To Be Us is like a softer JLP Alanis in its lyrics *.*

All in all, other than We Are Kings and Where My Love Goes which are a little bland and fillery, a flawless album and better than the already amazing Chapman Sqaure.

Champion should not have been a bonus tbh.

There are some really good song on this album but overall, I don't think its quite as strong as their first album. There are a couple of tracks which are more like fillers but the first album was completely solid. Still a very good effort though.

Just got round to opening my deluxe copy (it arrived whilst I was away in Ireland). 'Used to Be Us' is a really strong number, stronger than 'Money' was, certainly. I'll do a full review for my blog in due course but the box it comes in is rather nice :)

I take it Ryan's was not the face to greet you when you opened it up?

It was Ryan's art print funnily enough! The presentation with their deluxe releases is always high it has to be said :)

Love the album 'Rio' and 'When I'm Old' standouts for me so far - I know it's going to flop I just hope it's not too hard!
#13 in the mids :nocheer: To be expected but still a disappointment, hopefully it can stay Top 20.

I gave up any hopes of this being any form of successful months ago, so not too bothered. I'm just glad the album's here and such a high quality.

Stanning for flops like them and the likes of Alanis Morissette and J-Lo helps me not care about charts.

I doubt the album will be top20 by Friday - such a shame as its a very good album. It deserves much better.
^^ I agree it's no surprise but their fanbase literally evaporated - The new single is 59p and didn't trouble the iTunes Top 100 and the album has sold less than 3k which for a band so front loaded is shocking, their core fanbase must be around 1,500-2,000!
This is all just very sad. Lawson have always seem like nice guys so it's a shame to see this fall on it's ass.
