To coincide with her Vegas residency, Mariah has revealed that she's re-releasing her #1's album with new music :o

In celebration of Mariah's groundbreaking record, and in tandem with the concert series, Mariah is working on a new edition of her worldwide best-selling album #1's. Set to include all 18 of her number one hits, along with newly recorded music, the album will be released later this year.

“Revisiting these songs for the show, working on the updated compilation and creating new music has really let me reconnect with my songs and I hope my fans will enjoy the experience,” said Mariah.

So the tracklisting will be completely different? Because the original #1's (I hate that spelling - why does it require an apostrophe?!) has 17 songs on it and she's had five US #1s since...

Odd choice of release regardless, she has a million compilation albums already! Such a shame the last album was such a flop as "#Beautiful" was incredible, she's silly to not have capitalised on it at the time.

Ugh Mariah we don't want 'updated' duets. "It's a Wrap" and "Betcha Gon Know" were two wasted spots on Me. I Am Mariah... :( Especially as the far superior "Angels Cry" and "Up Out My Face" remixes were never included on an album!

She appeared in a sketch on The Late Late Show with James Corden this week singing her greatest hits! So funny  "You don't know this song" - dead!

The cover is being unveiled on her website ( http://www.mariahcarey.com/ ) slowly but surely! 73% revealed now. #RevealMariah

Today's date marks 10 years since the release of her 10th studio album 'The Emancipation of Mimi' ( :o  ) and it's also 7 years since 'Touch My Body' topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming her 18th #1. Sadly her last one to date!

Her face looks horrendous. Honestly have no clue what's going on with the wonky eyes and awful facial expression. That body is so so photo-shopped as well.
Her photoshopper must have earned enough money to retire comfortably by now.
Mimi's retoucher on top form.

It's certainly not a patch on the original cover, but it's not too bad

I'm glad she ditched the apostrophe and s for this release.

I don't think it's quite as bad as others have stated. For me the original #1s album had horrendous artwork and while this is far from great, it's an improvement on the original.

Mariah’s first album release will be Mariah Carey #1 To Infinity, arriving in stores May 18th on Epic Records / Columbia Records/Sony Legacy. For the first time ever, one career-spanning chronological collection will gather all 18 of her Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles (17 self-penned), more than any solo artist in history. Included as the final track on the collection is Mariah’s breathtaking new single, “Infinity” (co-written and produced by Mariah). Fans who pre-order the album now and will receive a special gift http://smarturl.it/MC_1ToInfinity

Monday, April 27th marks the global premiere of both new single “Infinity” and the stunning Brett Ratner-lensed accompanying video. That same day, Mariah has a spectacular kick-off event planned in Las Vegas to celebrate her upcoming Caesars Palace Vegas Residency. Stay tuned for more details !

So the new single is coming at the end of April! :D

Excited to hear Infinity.

The butterfly/infinity icon is cute.

Probably won't be buying this album then. Was hopeful for more than just 1 new track!

Only 1 new track and that cover? This is a complete mess so far

Plus the fact the new track will probably get to #101 when this is a #1 hits album.
