Bumping this thread as I wanna introduce you to the Italian trio Datura.

 

Despite having zero UK hits, they had a couple of Italian hits in the '90s. With two of their tracks sampled by two different DJs this year, they surely became one of the most influential dance acts in 2023.

Wonder if anyone's familiar with this Castle In The Sky by Italian musician DJ Satomi (real name: Simone Bocchino). This has been covered on 2 different hardstyle songs in the last 2 years. Released in 2004, the original version has 11M Spotify streams and 24M YouTube views so far.
