Fifth Harmony release their first full length studio album "Reflection" in the US on February 3rd, 2015, But how much will it sell in its first week?

Here's what you need to know:

  • Tracklisting

    1. Top Down

    2. BO$$

    3. Sledgehammer

    4. Worth It (ft Kid Ink)

    5. This is How We Roll

    6. Everlasting Love

    7. Like Mariah (ft Tyga)

    8. Them Girls Be Like

    9. Reflection

    10. Suga Mama

    11. We Know

    12. Going Nowhere - (deluxe)

    13. Body Rock - (deluxe)

    14. Brave Honest Beautiful (ft Meghan Trainor) - (deluxe)

  • Their first single, "Miss Movin' On" started at #85 on the Hot 100 in July 2013, selling 37,163 in its first week (it peaked at #76 five weeks later).
  • The "Better Together (EP)" debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 with sales of 27,899 in November 2013, while the acoustic version of the EP debuted at #189 four weeks later.
  • "Bo$$", the first single from their new album debuted at #43 on the Hot 100, with first week sales of 75,000 in July 2014. It has sold in the region of 400,000 so far.
  • The second single from the album, "Sledgehammer" sold 15,872 during its first week of release, but it didn't debut on the Hot 100 until two weeks later, when it entered at #93. The song peaked at #40 earlier this month.
  • "Worth It (featuring Kid Ink)", an instant grat from the album sold in the region of 35k in its first week, debuting at #82 on the Hot 100.

So, how much will "Reflection" sell in its first week in the US?

The album is #27 on the iTunes albums chart, but it hasn't been as visible as I would have expected.

  • Tate Stevens - 2012 (Winner) - The country singer's self-titled album sold 16,830 to debut at #16 in May, 2013.
  • Fifth Harmony - 2012 (3rd) - The girl group's sales are above.
  • Emblem3 - 2012 (4th) - The boyband have had 3 albums appear on the Billboard 200 - "Nothing To Lose" debuted at #7 with sales of 45,969 (August, 2013), "Songs From The Couch: Vol. 1 (EP)" debuted at #53 on approx 5,500 (June, 2014), while "Forever Together (EP)" debuted at #56 selling 6,736 that week (November, 2014).

  • Chris Rene - 2011 (3rd) - The rapper's "I'm Right Here (EP)" debuted at #55 with sales of 8,555 in October, 2012.
  • Marcus Canty - 2011 (4th) - The R&B singer's "This...Is Marcus Canty (EP)" debuted at #114 on sales of 4,061 in March, 2013.

Interesting that all genres are pretty much covered. Shame they never released Melanie Amaro's album. I wonder if she still got her $5,000,000

Byee this is gonna struggle to sell 35k on sales alone.

(Watch it sell somewhere around 80k now)

Down to #32.

I think I remember Little Mix's album being more visible on pre-order in the iTunes Albums chart.

Didn't they do 40k+ in the first week?

I think 30k on pure sales and about 10-15k in streaming

So 40-45k

I don't know where their vague popularity comes from but I'm saying 25k.
I think they have a bigger fanbase than Alex & Sierra so I'll say 30-35k!
Their album is number one on itunes so I'm still sticking with 45k, I can't see the album staying at the position for long, but it still should be promising enough for 30-35k real sales.

 thanks! It has been up for pre-order on iTunes for god knows how long which probably helped a lot.
