I dislike Charlie & Roxy with this storyline. It's ruined their characters and the friendship, as well as their relationship with Ronnie.

17. Yvonne Cotton (8.06)

I guess making tea really does get you noticed, as Yvonne finishes with a respectable position of 17. We first see Yvonne in 2014 when Charlie wants her to meet Dot. We see her wearing a blazer with the label still on it, which could only mean she was up to something. We later see her move in with Dot and Charlie as she helps hide Nick who is meant to be dead. She also has sex with Nick on Dot's couch, another highlight after he impressive Tea making. Alas, she is no longer in the show, and it looks as though Fatima may become the new Tea maker in Walford.

A true EE icon is next. We have seen Shirley down about 5 bottles of Vodka a week for the many years she has been on the show. It is remarkable she is still alive. In 2014 we learned of her family and the relationships they share with one another. We saw he tell Mick he was her son, learned of her birth with Aunt Babe and Sylvie in a caravan and watched her run as she shot Phil after having sex with him multiple times when he was meant to be marrying Sharon.

15. Stan Carter (8.18)

Managing to beat his daughter and sneak into the top 15 is Stan. In 2014 we saw Stan living in a flat, helping Dean out. When he injured himself, he moved to Walford. He never had the best relationship with his kids, but I think in the end, they all realized how much they loved him :heart:

I disliked Stan this year though. He went right downhill after Christmas begging his family to assist in his suicide when he was perfectly capable of overdosing on his own.

14. Lauren Branning (8.21)

2014 was just another year for Lauren. We saw he battle her drinking (Again) and we saw her set up LB Letting's with Lucy. Losing her best friend hit Lauren hard and her relationship with Jake didn't do her any favours. We also saw actress Jacqueline Jossa attempt to hide her ever-growing baby bump :lol:

13. Johnny Carter (8.26)

A favourite on Buzzjack, Johnny Carter comes (Out) in at number 13. :kink: Although Johnny's stay in Walford was short, we saw him have a huge impact on the Carter clan. We saw him sturggle to get Linda to support his sexuality and saw him fail his Uni exams. Johnny left to go traveling with his boyfriend in Italy.

12. Dot Branning (8.32)

Missing the top 10, is everyone's favourite Battenberg baking grandmother, Dot. 2014 saw Dot come to terms with the 'death' of her son Nick, which shocked her to the core. We also saw her meet her grandson Charlie and watched as she tried to hold together the Branning clan. A true Icon.

SAUSAGE SURPRISE! Jean manages to nab a top 10 spot in our countdown! 2014 was a big year for Jean. We saw her move away from Walford with her new partner and start her new life. She made a return when she had a funny turn and ended up in hospital. This saw her convince Stacey to appeal to get out of prison. Jean will be returning for a short stint this summer too! She is such an amazing actress and character! I love her to bits :D

9. Nancy Carter (8.85)

In my eyes, the funniest Carter bows out at #9. 2014 saw Nancy try to hold her family together as revelations came out. (like Johnny) :kink: 2014 also saw her and Dexter have an on / off romance, which, thankfully, didn't come to anything! Oh, she also nearly got married...

In at 8, with a score of 8.88 :o is Denise Fox! Arguably one of the most under used characters and actresses, 2014 saw Denise spend most of her year in a relationship with Ian Beale. We also saw her cope with the death of Lucy and Patrick's stroke. We were also provided with some Skype calls with Kim to provide a little bit of comedy to a depressing year.

Stacey made her long awaited return to EE in 2014 after Kat discovers her living with Lily and Matt Willis :lol: She returns to the square and get's a job in Deans salon and starts a relationship with him. She helps Linda out in her rape case by testifying against Dean.

6. Emma Summerhayes (8.91)

I am very shocked Emma managed to peak so high! Let's be honest, she was hopeless, but in a kind of lovable way. 2014 saw Emma be introduced on the Lucy Beale murder case. She was also the first person to find out about the events that happened on the night she died. Unfortunately she is now dead and took the secret to the grave with her :(

5. Kim Fox (9.09)

Despite only being in about 3 episodes last year, IKONEK Queen Kimberley managed to have many amazingly funny moments. I mean, she returned dressed in the most over the top coat imaginable and in a pair of heels she couldn't walk in. Not to mention the fact she was pregnant!
